"After checking in, we opened the door to our room and I immediately noticed one bed looked like someone had just rolled out of it (forgot to get photo)! We asked for clean bedding. The young man sent to help us couldn’t understand English. He left and returned with only a single fitted sheet. After gesturing and pointing he again left and returned with everything new. We realized nothing in that room was clean and we were stuck there for two nights. I began looking around. In the bathroom there were several long dark strands of hair on the floor. Eeeekkk!!! Also, bathroom light didn’t work—only the light/fan combo and the fan was so loud and rattled. If we had been on the ground floor I would have been really worried about two places in the ceiling that were ready to give way. AND there was a quarter inch gap around the door with outside visible. IF YOU’VE BOOKED THIS HOTEL FOR AN UPCOMING EVENT, YOU SHOULD CANCEL. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! You’ve been warned!"

"I arrived on Saturday afternoon and went to the office to see if there was anything else to do for check in. They had already sent everything I need for my arrival. The guy at the counter was so nice as to give directions of where to go shopping. I enjoyed walking in the Cotton District. Grabbing a beer and appetizer from The Landing (more restaurants would join on Expedia). Back to the motel to rest before attending my son’s play at State. After the play, I arrived back at the room to the serenity of silence. Had a nap cap and then off to sleep. The bedding was great and the mattress was better than the Marriott I stayed in last weekend. They were reasonably priced and parking was at my door. Loved every minute of it. When I am back in Starkville this is where I’ll be staying. Save me a room! "

"This hotel was absolutely disgusting! The non-smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke, the fixtures in the bathroom were hanging out of the wall, there were sketchy people walking all around the property, overall it was just terrible place! I would not recommend this hotel at all!"
