A very lovely and charming Inn. The staff is very welcoming and super friendly. The room was clean and quiet, the bed was very comfortable too! We will absolutely be staying here again in the future.
From the well stocked guest pantry to the interesting history of the inn to the beautifully appointed room to the friendly service - I could go on and on - everything was just wonderful!
What a beautiful and quaint property. The owners were so knowledgeable and accommodating. Our suite was gorgeous and comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.
The town of Jacksonville is lovely also. A very nice place to visit.
The property is a beautiful place with lots of charm. The location is very close to downtown restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return sometime soon again.
Lovely place. It being in downtown was perfect. We were able to walk to all restaurants and bars. Lovely small bar in the Inn and wonderful staff. We’ll be back.
We have stayed at McCully House multiple times and absolutely love it. The staff, bar and bakery are to die for. Rooms especially 14 are clean and comfy. Thank you for always making our stay pleasurable!
it was one of the best stays we have had. the room we had was excellent, it had all amenities you could ask for. we will go back again and this will be the only place we will stay, loved it
McCully House Inn is a gem!! This property is absolutely beautiful, plenty of outdoor areas to enjoy, along with comfortable seating in the lounge. Beds are extremely comfortable, the guest pantry is the best— everything you need for morning coffee and tea. We will definitely be back soon!
The staff was very kind, considerate and accommodating. Attentive and communicated well which we especially appreciated since we didn’t know when we would be arriving. The hostess made sure we ate after we checked in, and the food was quite good!
The room was absolutely adorable, clean, with beautiful decor. It’s a historic home yet has all the amenities of a well run hotel. We expected the walls to be thin BECAUSE it’s a historic home but were surprised with how quiet the home was. The bed was so soft and we slept the best we had out of multiple resorts that we have stayed on during our road trips.
We noticed little touches here and there such as fresh flowers, water in our room, the glasses with the coasters and it made us feel welcomed.
It was a great experience that I would be more than happy to repeat when we are back in the area.
Beautiful, historic inn with loads of charm. Stunning gardens and great amenities (e-bikes, bikes, 24hr pantry, and gym passes). Modern amenities. Highly recommend!!!
Although we only stayed one night—a perfect midpoint if driving between Seattle and the Bay Area—we had a Wow experience at the McCully House Inn. The property, amenities, and staff were all exceptional.
We also enjoyed shopping and dining in the immediate area around the inn. I highly recommend!!
The Inn was very comfortable, spacious, beautiful and the owner was warm and welcoming. The staff was also very helpful and attentive. Although it is in an old home it still felt very private and restful. The property is impeccably maintained. We will definitely stay again in the near future.

Lovely place to stay in Jacksonville. Even though it’s on the main street in town it’s quiet and comfortable. Their pantry is nice but wished the fruit flies were under control. The “B” team were on duty over the holiday week. No one greeted us. No one answered the phone number we were given in case there was an issue. We were told the pub would be open or we would receive the code to get the keys to the room. Neither happened. Same when we checked out. They’re a bit conservative on the amount of TP in the room. We received only one replacement roll. We plan to stay again but we’ll be certain to get a code and ask for more TP upfront. The first time we stayed the staff were great, happy hour was nice and the food in the pub was yummy.
The room was beyond beautiful, well appointed.
Met the owners who gave us a tour and the history. Future plans will be outstanding in their current update and better yet plans. Owners are very nice and welcoming.
From the property owner to every employee, the experience was fabulous. We we automatically upgraded to a beautiful room, the entire inn was immaculately clean. We were also impressed with Jacksonvilleitself. It is a beautiful, charming little. Although there are a few other inns in Jacksonville, we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. We will be returning to Jacksonville and will stay nowherevelse. I HIGHLY recommend anyone reading this review do so, as well.
Absolutely gorgeous room in a beautiful place! Warm welcome when we arrived. Henry was so accommodating. Cookies, wine, and a fire. Live music just across the street.
Complete fairy tale from start to finish.
The attention to detail for the services and amenities was beyond expectation. We travel often, but never slept so well, nor enjoyed a stay quite like this one. The room was quiet, like we had the entire place to ourselves. The beds were extremely comfortable, the coffee and snacks were wonderful. We could walk to amazing places to eat and shop for unique and local items.
We had no plans to return to Jacksonville as we were here for a family event, but we enjoyed it so much we are creating an excuse to return!
