We had a short but pleasant stay at this Inn. Due to Covid 19 we didn't get to experience the full scope of this Inn but after a long 2 days drive we were ready to relax.
It's a wonderful Inn with a very friendly hostess.
Bybee's Historic Inn in Jacksonville, OR is just gorgeous. The rooms are beautifully accommodated, the hostesses are welcoming and fabulous cooks, and the grounds are just beautiful. I would highly recommend this lovely Inn to anyone...
The rooms are amazingly clean and well appointed. The beds are very comfortable and the breakfasts are outstanding. The hosts are very nice and friendly and the house is immaculate.
We probably stay abut 40 nights each year in hotels. This was the very best of all. The hotel is a restored Victorian (?) home. The rooms are well appointed throughout. We were greeted as we walked toward the porch before getting to the stairs. "Would you like something to drink? A glass of wine?" We were asked. It was hot so I took the cool Chardonnay. The library was "darker" feeling "cooler", and the living room and dining room were a walk back in history. In the morning we were served an excellent breakfast on lace table cloths on the porch. I can't say enough about the outstanding hospitality, cleanliness, ambiance, breakfast and warmth. My only regret? If too many people read this I may have difficulty booking the next time. Great value for an excellent stay.
I can't say enough good things about this place and the owners. I felt like we were at home, but better, because we were not at home. This is the most relaxing place ever. From the glass of wine and yummy cookies at arrival to the relaxing verandas and patios, to the amenities... and let's not get started on the awesome breakfast...I can't wait to go back! LOVE IT
Tina and Nikki are wonderful hosts who keep this 1857 Victorian in perfect condition. Rooms, bed everything very comfortable. It was a perfect stop for our travels between Seattle to the San Francisco Bay Area. Loved sitting on the veranda watching a robin try to build a nest on the door wreath. Chickadees flying in and out of birdhouses.
