Had a great weekend. This place was so freakin adorable. Was quiet and the location was close to everything but far enough away to be able to have some peace. Will be staying here again.
Spent a weekend at the Roost with family. We were a group of 4 adults and had plenty of room to unwind and relax after a day in Saratoga. The unit was charming and exactly as advertised. Kitchen was well stocked. Quiet and friendly community. Host responded promptly to communication. We had dinner at the End Zone and breakfast at the Ugly Rooster Cafe, both provided great food and service.
My family of 4 (kids 4 and 2) enjoyed our stay at the Roost. Check-in and check-out was fine. Be aware you will be staying underneath tenants on the top floor. We didn't seem them at all, and they weren't loud, but they were there.
The place is cool though and was a great jumping off point for our upstate weekend.
This space is as noted and just a sweet spot! We appreciated the acoustic nature of the room as we played and recorded some music . Our main attraction was Hozier at SPAC and this was a great place to land after the show! Thank you helping with the chemical smell I do recommend unscented laundry soap and more natural cleaning projects!

Delightful space, but inconsiderate upstairs neighbors
I would have easily given this a 5-star rating based on the space itself. Extremely clean and comfortable with all the classic mementos of its space as a former diner.
Unfortunately, the occupants of the space above were walking loudly and thumping until just past midnight during our first two nights. It sounded as if they were moving furniture. The host wasn't responsive during the evenings so there was no recourse but to endure it.
Additionally, the space is on a street corner, and we were wakened early by trucks stopping and accelerating at the stoplight.
In short, a great place marred by outside elements.
Coming back home again is always fun. This was a great place to stay for the week and we had so much fun.

Rooster parkimg
Was supposed to have off street parkkng, however, there were multiple cars larked where there were knly supposed to be kne other beside mine. Had to park on the street.
The Roost is a very fun diner themed apartment which is located a convenient distance from Albany and Saratoga. It was clean and spacious. My only complaint was that the one bedroom has a double and twin beds not two double beds. We had plenty of space, but the beds weren’t exactly as described. I would have loved a few notes on local restaurants, grocery stores etc - and some more detailed information about the space- but it didn’t negatively impact our stay in any way- would definitely recommend.
The roost is really cool! Lots or resemblance to an old diner which makes it very unique but fun. It was nice to stay with a friend. Large bathroom and lots of room to sleep a couple people. Would recommend for a trip with friends.
This apartment was adorable, clean, and communication with the owner was easy and efficient. We wish we would’ve had more time to enjoy the space, but will definitely book again when traveling back to Saratoga Springs. 10/10.
We were in town for a horse show, and this property was the perfect location. What a cool spot! We all loved it, such a creative idea. It was the perfect size for the 4 of us! Comfortable beds, great water pressure, and everything you could ever need for a comfortable stay. If you happened to forget any toiletries, they were avaliable! Such a nice touch. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, and the tenant above was also very quiet, and has the cutest dog's. We ate at the Ugly Rooster café, which was amazing! There was another close by restaurant that was also awesome, Bubbles. Grocery store, gas stations and were all plentiful in the area. We like everything about this place. We would stay again when coming back to the Saratoga area! We all highly recommend this property!
You’re in a very nice town, neighbors were also cordial. The area is fairly quiet, but you’re close to a lot of things! There’s a small shopping center, gas stations, restaurants in the town. But you’re only 25 minutes from the big Crossgates mall! Host was very kind and helpful! We had a great stay, my friends didn’t know where we were staying until we got there they LOVED the decor! Definitely will stay again in the future!
We stayed for one night. It was very clean inside. The outside lacked attention with thick dirt on the windows, mildew on awnings, and some inappropriate things written on the thick dirt on the windows that our kids pointed out. Spiderwebs on the doorframe were not welcoming. Location was unimpressive- not unsafe, not desirable. Inside was very cute, set up like a diner, first floor apt. Housekeeping was easy to reach, beds very comfortable. Our biggest complaint was the overpowering scent. It was like trying to breathe inside a plug-in and diffuser combined. Because there are no windows that open, it was incredibly difficult to breathe. I put on all the fans, the ACs, the mini split fan to try and reduce the the smell, but honestly it was hard to sleep, I was choking through the perfume scent all night and we left at 7 am to get out as soon as possible to breathe some fresh air. If the owner can get that under control, I would recommend.

Alright
A little disappointed. The host did not send check-in or check-out instructions until I requested them 30 minutes before check-in time, and even then he didn’t send them until 5 hours later. The bathroom was not properly cleaned—ring in the toilet, hair around the sink, and grime all in the shower.
