Perfect place to relax
Very well maintained. Check in to check out, the whole process was easy. Outdoor area with the pool was perfect to enjoy a meal and for the kids to swim. The outdoor bathroom by the pool was so convenient. Would definitely book again if staying in the area.

Wedding weekend
This property was home base for our daughter and her bridesmaids leading up to her wedding. It was a very convenient location in a quiet neighborhood. There was ample parking. Wonderful family home
Our family used the home for lodgings for our immediate family for our son’s wedding. Perfect for our group. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay therein the summer. The pool and background looked awesome!

Family Reunion
My Grandfather built this house. I thought it would be nice to take a trip down memory lane but wasn't sure how others in the family would feel. Turns out we all had a blast. Brooks was wonderful to deal with and does a really nice job maintaining the property. Highly recommended, even if you are not part of the family. ;-)

The property is clean and unique with surprises behind every door. It was the perfect place to house my children, grandchildren and myself, for a family get together. The backyard is utterly amazing!! If you are considering this place, do it. It has everything you need for a wonderful weekend!!

Great backyard
The property was great however there was a lot of traffic noise. We also had to buy more pool towels, toilet paper, large trash bags and fire wood. All of which was supposed to be supplied. Upstairs a/c unit dripped on bed however was resolved by cleaning filter. Pool house shower was used a lot as house showers were minimal.

Great getaway
The place was very clean, well stocked and very private. Close to various attractions but the in ground pool was a bigger hit with the kids. We spent a couple of days just enjoying the pool. Plenty of comfortable lounge chairs as well as a screened in gazebo which accommodated our group of 10.

Central PA Visit
We had a nice stay in Mechanicsburg. We visited Gettysburg for a tour thru town & did the visitor center and auto tour, Lake Tobias we had a fun day with the animals, bowling and of course the yard with beautiful pool was fun! Duke's was a great restaurant to go to. The house worked out well for our group.

Great, central base for exploring Central PA
We were three families with 6 kids ranging ages 8-16. We used the house, which was super clean and well-appointed, as a home base for a long weekend at Lancaster, Hershey Park and Gettysburg. The house was a perfect central home base. Everyone had plenty of space and the kitchen and dining room were great. Mechanicsburg was really cute, as well. We only wish it had been warm enough to better use the pool and outdoor space, which was lovely.

Great property in a fantastic location. So many extras - firepit for S'mores, Corn Hole, Basketball. Beautiful yard space and gazebo. Wish we could have used the pool - will need to return in the Summer.

The house, price, communication, neighborhood and close proximity to major attractions. This was the perfect house for our trip. Highly recommend this to anyone heading to PA. We went to Hershey and other area attractions and this was central to each. Communication was quick and easy!

The Perfect House for Our Family
We had a positively wonderful week in Mechanicsburg. The house was exactly the right size for us and the pool and back yard were a great place for us to gather. My little grandsons has plenty of space to play and we all enjoyed the gazebo…no mosquitos! We may make it an annual event! Thank you so much for your great communication and flexibility.

Great Hershey Park House
30 minute drive to Hershey Park which was ideal for our family trip. Kids wouldn't get out of pool! The kitchen can get a little tight for 12 people and the upstairs bathroom at top of stairs could use an industrial clean/renovation but otherwise, a fabulous house!

Fun time
The pool makes the house - it was awesome using it and being able to simply relax in it. We did many other things (bike rides, hiking, Gettysburg, and Hershey Park) all were a short drive from house (30 minutes or less). House was very well equipped, one bedroom was a little funky being in back of bathroom with another bedroom in front of bathroom. Would definitely rent from Brooks again.

Very clean and nice. Pool is absolutely awesome. Very clean and nice. Property managers were very responsive and caretakers were great. Large family vacation and no issues with property. Gazebo is also a great place to "get away" or play a game (and a bit cooler thanks to the fans). Everything was very nice. Can't say enough good about it.

Great relaxing vacation spot with fully stocked amenities
We had a great time vacationing in this home! Everything from linens to kitchenware to games and pool floats were included so we didn’t have to bring everything or go out to purchase items for our stay. The owner, Brooks Watts, was in contact to ensure check in went smoothly and made himself available if needed. We enjoyed exploring nearby bike paths, walking to town for ice cream, visiting Amish communities, Hershey Park, and Gettysburg and returning each day to cool off and relax in the pool. Check out was equally easy and Brooks reached out again to make sure there were no issues with the home. My family had a great week exploring the area and relaxing in the pool with absolutely no hassles!

Nice place to stay. A little smaller than expected but worked well. Good be cleaned better found dog hair in one bed so had to wash sheets before using. Also dusty in the corners and along base boards. Very nice back yard and pool and gazebo area. Would definitely rent again.

Big enough for 8 adults and 7 kids!
We like to take family vacations with our three adult children, their spouses and 7 grandkids ages 1 - 11. That is 15 people total. This 6 bedroom, 3 full and 2 half bathroom house gave us enough space and room to spread out. This was the first time the kids got to share two bedrooms with their cousins instead of having to squeeze into their parents' bedrooms and the parents didn't have to have kids sleep in their room. The three washers and dryers were an added bonus. The fenced in backyard with an in-ground pool was a big hit with the kids. Plus lots of outside furniture to expand outside for relaxing and eating. We'd swim most mornings and evenings with trips to see the sites during the day. The location is great with Hershey Park, Hershey World, and Gettysburg being only about 1/2 hour away. We also went to The Crayola Experience in Easton a little less than two hours drive. A quiet, pleasant neighborhood with plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. This house and location fit the bill for a great large family vacation.

Beautiful, spacious home in quiet neighborhood
I stayed at this home for a family wedding/reunion over Memorial Day weekend. The house was impeccably clean and well stocked for our needs. The communal spaces were well furnished and comfortable. The pool, screened gazebo and outdoor firepit were added bonuses. the grounds were well kept and pleasant. Brooks was very responses and flexible. We had no issues at all. I totally recommend staying in this wonderful Mechanicsberg home.

40th anniversary family vacation
We found this rental to be a central location for all 15 of us traveling from Michigan, Pittsburgh, and New England. We had 9 adults and 6 kids from almost 2yo to 7yo. The pool and backyard area are very nice with lots to do for the family including corn hole, horseshoes, and a fire pit. We also enjoyed the basketball hoop! We tried the Ressler's NY bagel shop and the Greek restaurant recommended in the listing and both were very good. We 4 ladies also enjoyed an afternoon coffee at Capital Joe's one day. Just want to note that to get to the bedroom with the skylights, you have to walk through the kids bedroom and also a bathroom. It ended up working out ok for us, but just something that future renters may want to be aware of. It was great to have the extra fridge in the pool house for drinks. And also nice to have the 3 washers and dryers.

We used this rental as "home base" for an extended family gathering and found it to be adequate for all our needs. The weather was perfect allowing us to gather poolside (though too cold for swimming) and enjoy corn hole and chatting around the fire pit at night. The design of the home is a bit odd but that being said it accommodated a large group of people. The outside bathroom and shower was a unique and beneficial feature. We found the location to be central to our planned activities including activities at Messiah University homecoming, public outdoor volleyball courts available 10 minutes down the road and an apple orchard nearby as well. I would be glad to recommend this rental especially for groups needing larger accomodations.

Mechanicsburg Stay
Janice and her husband greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the house. It was a pleasure to talk with them and they were very informative and accommodating. The grounds and house are beautifully maintained. My granddaughters enjoyed the pool. In fact given the temperatures that week we all enjoyed the pool. Mechanicsburg has several excellent places to eat: restaurants, a brewery, a bagel establishment and a coffee shop all close by. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

Best Vacation House EVER!!!!
From the very first time I inquire about this house Janice and David have been nothing short of hospitable. They have gone above and beyond to address any of our concerns. The house is absolutely beautiful and was clean from top to bottom. We are a total of 11 people. 2 Elderly women, 5 adults and 4 children ages 10, 9, 4, and 2. There was enough room for all of us. The kids practically lived in the pool for our entire stay which was 7 nights. They have a range of pool toys for kids and 1 blow-up chair. The house had everything we needed. I love the fact they have an outside bathroom, it has a shower that you can wash off in right after you exit the pool. Everything was literally 10-12 minutes away in any direction. For example target, Walmart, BJ's etc Their neighbor was extremely kind. He checked the pool for us and also watered the plants. All in all this has been a wonderful experience, I can't thank them enough.
