"Family friendly hotel, great during Spring break! We will be returning as the amenities and the “beach” pool area was a hit with the kiddos. Be sure to pack pool floats as they’re allowed at the pool, just keep an eye out as there are no signs around the pool indicating the floats are not provided by the hotel. The breakfast buffet at CAVA was alright, but the chairs in the patio dining area could’ve been better cleaned. The staff was friendly and approachable overall, but no one was going out of their way to offer assistance or to inform us of additional services provided. We missed the Easter hunt as the event wasn’t heavily promoted. The only Easter related signage I noticed was for a $75 kid’s Easter basket. Other than that the hotel is clean, housekeeping does a good job at maintaining the rooms tidy. The room we stayed in was partially carpeted and given that this is a dog-friendly hotel I think that they could do without."

"Staff was great! However our room was pretty dusty and there were broken cups and markings on the doors. Not sure if someone cleaned before we got there but it kind of looked like our room hadn’t been cleaned or at least no one had been in it for over a week to tidy up. "

"This resort is unacceptable for a Hyatt property. On the positive side, the design of the pool itself was great for the area, and one of the few properties with a lazy river. The water temperature was refreshing. Beyond that, not much to like. For context, we stayed here on weekdays. The service here was terrible and unacceptable for this type of resort. The restaurants were significantly understaffed, with extremely slow service for both bar and restaurants. Housekeeping and bell desk repeatedly refused our requests for cleaning (we say other customers complaining about the same). The quality of the food here is bad, whether kids food or adult food. The marketplace is overpriced, and the quality is closer to what you find for takeaway food in a gas station. The quality of the ingredients of the food from the restaurants were high, the execution was poor and uneven. The pool area has no seating if you go late morning. We had to grab towels and spread out on the turf near one of the pools. Even the tables for food service were full of people just trying to find space. Only about 35% of the chairs with towels or personal items seemed occupied at any given time. The resort staff and rules did not have them enforce any turnover of space not being used.This was on a Monday and Tuesday, so not peak days. The rooms were adequately clean. A couple of family members seemed to get bitten by unknown, non mosquito bugs in the room. "

"It was horrible I got there at night and as soon as I got in the room to unpack i was getting my kids ready for bed and we see cockroaches on the beds, walls, and counters there was no microwave and fridge to warm up my babies bottles. The beds were so hard and not comfterable at all. I called to ask go another room with a microwave and the lady at front feel was so rude and said i should have told her sooner and she could not help. I had literally just checked in so what is she saying? "
