This felt like a full studio apartment with plenty of complimentary drinks and treats. Coffee in the room and pleasant staff. I will be frequenting this property as much as I can when I'm in town. Thank you for having me!

Great Unknown Hotel
This place was lovely and the staff friendly. They left a personalized note along with some small gifts in the room, which was very nice. There was also a complimentary snack and drink in the room. My drink was expired so I would suggest that they check the dates. This place was very clean and modern. I was only there for one night and left very early so I didn't get to fully enjoy my room or other hotel amenities. Hope to stay again soon. My only real issue was that the people above my room sounded like a herd of elephants for about 2-3 hours during the night. It made it very hard to go to sleep and stay asleep. It isn't the fault of the hotel though that the people above me were inconsiderately heavy footed.

Felt like a private getaway, limited rooms that were just the right fit. Location is in the center of so many popular attractions as well as the down to earth staff at check in. Independently owned and I would book this location again without question.

30 rooms, clean, green & convenient
very good stay, great location, manager was very personable, friendly & helpful; a couple of notes that may be helpful to others: 1/ the breakfast is not a hot one as offered by some other hotels and as long as one is not gluten-free and likes bagels and fruit, it's quite nice; 2/ room maintenance is not an every-day service. That was fine with us because it is a green approach that we appreciate. If I remember correctly, it happens every 3rd day. As long as towels are not left on the bathroom floor and one is not slovenly, you will be just fine.

Excellent experience! It was our first time at this type of property but our entire experience was great, from our late-night arrival to finding a welcome bag in our room, plenty of space, nicely arranged sitting area and kitchenette, large bathroom and a very comfortable bed. They have thought of everything. The staff was friendly on the phone and in person.

The Acorn Suites was lovely. Very clean and wonderful front desk person. The area was handy to shopping and dining. The snacks in the afternoon were a nice treat. The only thing that was not quite up to par was the breakfast. It is advertised as breakfast but it is just a small offering.

Little Unknown Gem in Mebane

Who Knew Mebane Had a Hotel Like Acorn?
I was very impressed with this hotel. Somewhat of a boutique feel. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room feel was excellent. I was also impressed with the cleanliness of the entire facility.

We would go back!
We chose this hotel because we found a good deal on Expedia and it happened to be very close to our daughter and family who we were visiting. We had prearranged a late check-in and that worked out fine. Check-out was also smooth. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We didn't have the continental breakfast but it was available.

This place was perfect! Our room was bigger than expected with two TVs, kitchenette and a large bathroom. We had a snack waiting on us , too. The staff was incredibly friendly & helpful and the entire facility was impeccable. Very homey! Would recommend to anyone

This place was very nice. We arrived late and they had the keys in the lock box for us. There was also a snack and water waiting for us. The room was beyond what we were expecting. Definitely would stay here again. We didnt utilize the kitchen but it was nice to have in case. This room would be great for a small family or longer stays. The location was great...near highway and close to good and shops. Charlotte was about 2 hours away.....

Our Get-a-way weekend!
We were pleasantly surprised at the value for our money. The suite was roomy and well appointed. The bathroom was very good sized. However, there was no table or shelf to accommodate toiletries. We decided to move the small breakfast table into the bathroom to use for this purpose. We have found this situation in several motels and even some B&B's where we have stayed. The staff (just two people as far as we could tell) was very helpful, but the daytime desk clerk also did the room cleaning . She was limited in the amount of time she could be away from the desk and as a result the room was "presentable" each day, but not thoroughly cleaned. In the long run we were very happy with our accommodations and would be happy to recommend the Acorn Inn and Suites to anyone.

Convenient, comfortable and clean
The Acorn looks to be relatively new, has a big kitchen and individual climate controls for each room. The folks here are very friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

Lenght of the stay, 20 days. I was unable to cancel my reservation. I was suprised by learning that the rooms were cleaned weekly. On my last week I had my bed sheets for 9 days... The blankets were 100 % polyester and the room had carpet so you can imagine the static electricity at night!!!. I asked the night manager to change the blankets, but nobody did. As for the Wifi, after 8 pm it was almost impossible to connect.

In the bedroom, the DVD player (or maybe the cable box) is situated on a shelf in a cabinet under the television. The placement of this box is at eye-level when laying in the bed, which results in green and blue lights shining directly in our eyes when the room was dark and we were trying to sleep. Putting a towel over the lights helped.
