Meaford Public Library Tours and Activities

Hotel is dated and could use some updating. Had a king suite and the tv’s were not smart tv’s. The floor in the room had not been vacuumed as there were nuts spilled on the floor by the bed, and under the bed was in desperate need of a vacuum. All else was clean. Just old and in need of some love.

Booked a two-night stay several months in advance so we could catch a Jays game. The hotel wasn’t even open yet when I booked, which may explain the incredible rate I got (!) Pros: - Walkable to major sights (theatres, Rogers Centre, train station) and restaurants - Amazing breakfast buffet - Very comfy bed - Room was clean and AC worked great - Staff was friendly Cons I had some issues with the bathroom: - The sliding glass door showed opaque images of the person inside, which bugged me. It was also loud to open and close and let too much light into the room, which was annoying in the middle of the night. - It took a bit to figure out that the soap/shampoo/conditioner bottles mounted on the wall had to be squeezed to get the stuff out…not the most hygienic design My husband thought the room was too small, but it seemed fine to me. We didn’t use the gym, so can’t comment on that

Save the hassle of having the Bell Service bring up your bags. After a hour wait, we found our luggage unattended in the lobby and moved it ourselves. Concerns raised at checkout were dismissed. Disappointed with my experience here. Doesn’t feel like a Fairmont hotel stay anymore.
