The Douglas on Third is a 100 year old building that has been completely redone, inside and out and offers one of the few places to stay on historic 3rd Street in downtown McMinnville. The rooms are quaint, not overly large, but we have built in most everything you will need during your visit!

Over 50 local vineyards such as Archery Summit, Domaine Serene, and Domaine Drouhin are within 15 minutes making this the ultimate wine country getaway!

The Location could not be any better! Since the Douglas on Third is directly on Historic Third Street, you have the opportunity to walk to tasting rooms, restaurants and entertainment! We love that people can enjoy our amazing downtown and then walk safely back to their VRBO at The Douglas on Third. The Douglas on Third VRBO is the perfect place for you to stay during your time in McMinnville!

Fantastic location to tasting rooms

Super cute apartment with lots of design touches and with every convenience, such as Nespresso coffee maker, full stove w/oven, dishwasher, fireplace, in the middle of McMinnville historic downtown, full of tasting rooms and restaurants. Convenient parking behind the building. Would love to return very soon.

Great place to choose for a visit to McMinnville

All very clean and new. Large, comfortable bed. Full kitchen. Commercial grade washers and dryers available. Apartment is not large, but plenty of space for two people. HVAC was a little funky, but effective. Upgraded system was being installed as we left.

Cute and convenient

The apartment is superbly located in downtown McMinnville. Access to the apartment was quite easy with the lockbox instructions. Ikea amenities throughout the space. The only downer for us was the space heater/air conditioner unit. It is quite loud when it runs and takes a while to heat the room. Never shut off the entire time we were there unless we turned it off.

Perfect location

The apartment is newly renovated. It is clean, bright and quiet. Parking was always available in the rear of the building. Location could not be better - step outside and you are right on Main Street with shops and restaurants. The apartment is not luxurious - done in Ikea style furniture - it’s very small. We keep our suitcases in the small living area. It does have a king bed with memory foam type mattress which takes up the whole room. Bath is also tiny with a claw foot tub in the shower. Owner was very easy to work with. I would definitely stay here again as the location is great and it’s size and furnishings did not detract from our stay as we were out most of the day wine tasting.

Adorable apartment on 3rd

We stayed here on a wine tasting weekend and fell in love with this cozy apartment. It's a short walk to great restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend staying here!
