"Upon arrival I was skeptical due to the lack of curb appeal and the signage in front which just said The Irish Inn. Since it’s listed as The Irish Inn Boutique Hotel I was expecting it to be more than just gray buildings however once you step inside the lobby and our room you can clearly see it’s been remodeled. We were told they are still working on remodeling all the rooms. Check-in was easy and the person who checked us in was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. One unique feature is breakfast is room service only. You call in your order to the front desk and the time you want it and they deliver. There is no breakfast in the lobby. "

"The pool and hot tub were closed which we chose this hotel because it had an indoor pool for the kids, we were not informed when we made the reservation that it was closed, then the sign said for painting, which was not happening so I asked if they were going to open it and was told no they didn't know when it would open again because the heater was broke. Dont advertise a hot tub and an indoor pool if you cant accomidate a family with children expecting to swin on vacation. Never again will I stay at this hotel."

"A/C worked good. The motel is under new mgmt, and the motel is being renovated. Our room door didn’t have the number on the door but the electrical key worked fine."

"At first glance it may not look like much but it has everything you need to be comfortable for a night while passing through Texas . The staff was super friendly and accommodating, the rooms were clean , neat and very comfortable. The breakfast was hot and fresh. Everything our family of 8 needed to rest for the night. Thanks Shamrock for a great stay. "
