"The staff was excellent and the facilities were very neat and clean. I loved the location and the gift shop, with all the Dungeons & Dragons items was also really cool."
"We had an overnight stay at the Cove. I had booked the Bella Suite with loft which has two queen beds and a sofa sleeper. The room was nice. It met the needs of our time there.
The suites are owned by people who rent them out. The suite we had included 3 tvs. The tv, an LG, in the living room was very limited in what could be watched. It also did not allow us to connect our devices to it in order to watch Netflix or any other streaming service. Smart TVs can be purchased very reasonably and the owners should at least have a smart TV that allows people staying there to watch what they want.
The other issue is we had a small birthday party for our grandkids (6 and 8) in the room during a reasonable part of the early evening. They were running around a bit in the room but not being too loud. However, we received a phone call from the front desk indicating they received complaints about noise. Really? Our grandchildren are good kids. I have been at hotels where it was worse. "
"Booking was easy. Check in, no problem. Requested to be away from elevators and lobby due to traffic and events late at night. Reservation at the main indoor restaurant was poorly ran. Hostess never called my party so we were forced to take our dinner to go and eat it in our room. Thankfully the food was surprisingly good, at all locations in the hotel. Pool was great - water temp was warm (aka perfect). Loved mobile ordering food and drinks! It saved on so much time. Overall, a good experience."
"No one at the front desk when we arrived. Only one elevator working. ALL the ice machines on every floor were out of order. Front desk told us to go to the adjacent restaurant to ask. They did not seem too thrilled. I’ve gone here before and it wasn’t that bad. It seemed more rundown than before. It wasn’t beachfront property to begin with but at least some upkeep would be nice. It seemed light and bright in the lobby but once you went to your room it was a sketchy looking hallway. Reno is certainly needed SOON! "
"The AC unit didn’t work and or the heat unit so the room was extremely cold. The hot tub was filled with dirt and rides to the top. The vending machines didn’t work the front desk lady was pretty rude. The doors were all banged up and had gaps underneath them so you could hear everything that was going on inside or out. There was also crackheads and prostitutes that were living on property.
