"This property was great. The beds were so comfortable! The kitchen was fully equipped. Also, we could fish from the wharf (catch and release). We did not feel like cleaning the fish. The view was simply beautiful with the bridge adding to the charm. Our host was wonderful. He answered our questions very fast."

"Some towels were falling apart. Cabinet finishes were coming off. The hall bathroom shower spigot is ½ inch of the wall and allowing water penetration. It could use a refresh.The screened porch and indoor pool were great."

"Check in was horrible. The young girl was very rude. She was outside somewhere originally. When I walked in no one was at the counter and I just waited there thinking someone was possibly in the back or helping someone. Once she walked inside she walked behind me and around the corner to the counter and I said hello. She never greeted me. In fact minutes go by and she said “you say something?” I said, I said hello. She said oh and sat down. A few more minutes go by and she said do you need something. She was rude and unprofessional the entire time she checked me. She was sarcastic and said oh I didn’t know if you were here for groceries. Being that it was 10pm and we were exhausted I did not escalate the situation and because she looked like a child, maybe 18. However, that’s no excuse to tolerate this behavior as a company and she should be properly trained if she’s going to be in hospitality. Everyone else was good. The person at the front the next day was pleasant and the room keepers were very nice. Breakfast could’ve been warmer but that’s not a huge deal. I can obviously see this young lady was a fluke however she put a very bad taste in my mouth for holiday express and I don’t think we’ll choose them again. "

"Overall, the room was a great experience. Wonderful view over the lake. Kitchen is fully stocked with cookware. Washer and dryer is also available for use inside the unit. The only complaint I had is that WiFi was not included in the stay and normal rate is $50 for 10 nights and three devices. Thankfully l"
