"Modern room, everything worked properly and well. Excellent hidden lighting. I do wish they had a memory foam topper on the old-fashioned spring mattress."

ROMANTIC TROUT FISHING CABIN - WiFi, HotTub FirePit, Blue Ridge, RiverMistCabin
10/10 Excellent
"From the very beginning of booking the host was very responsive to my questions, we’ve been anticipating this trip for a few months. Once we arrived we were blown away, it’s absolutely beautiful here. Everything was clean, everything worked, beautiful setting and so peaceful. The host called to make sure we arrived safely which meant a lot to me. All the rooms were clean, everything you need for cooking, beautiful creek right out back to fish from. The fire pit area is amazing, I just can’t say enough good things about it. We absolutely plan on booking this again and bringing our kids who love to fish as well. It’s close enough to town for groceries (Walmart nearby), close to Blue Ridge and the train station which is a must do. Yet you feel so secluded here, it’s beyond peaceful. Our only disappointment is we can’t live here! We celebrated our 21 year anniversary here."

The French Secret for a perfect romantic getaway
10/10 Excellent
"Perfect for a romantic get away! The cottage was very clean and we loved the decor. We had the most relaxing weekend. The location is secluded and quiet which was exactly what we wanted. There is a short walk from the parking area to the cottage, but we didn’t mind at all. The town with some restaurants and a great bar (Bar 21) is close by."
Laughing Bear Lodge 10k sqft On Trout Stream
10/10 Excellent
"We had an amazing stay, and everything listed in the amenities was exactly as described. The property has so many unique features that made the experience really memorable. The creek was one of our favorite parts. It has a clear start and end point and was incredibly refreshing during the heat. There were also plenty of floaties available, so everyone had the opportunity to enjoy it comfortably. The basketball court was spacious, and the arcade options were especially unique and fun. There were plenty of bathrooms throughout the property, and they were all well stocked. There is also a theater room, although we didn’t end up using it during our stay. The custom details throughout the space were really charming and gave the property a lot of character. The kitchen was well stocked, organized, and easy to navigate. The main refrigerator was very spacious, and we especially appreciated having the smaller refrigerator in the back that cooled things down much faster. We did experience a few minor issues with the well-water distribution throughout the house. Most were minimal, but one room consistently had extremely hot/scalding water, so that may be something worth checking.Overall, this was an amazing location with so much to offer. The property exceeded our expectations, and we definitely felt that it was worth the cost. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay!"
