Cozy Pines Log Cabin 2BR+Loft Creekside w/ Hot Tub
10/10 Excellent
"The hot tub was hot and ready when we arrived! We enjoyed how close the tub was to the door, and loved the cozy fireplace. Also the beds were very comfortable. All around it was a peaceful and pleasant stay"

"This place is amazing! Thank you so very much to Margaret for being an amazing host and sharing this lovely cottage with us. She had everything ready for our arrival the heat was on so it was warm and cozy when we got there, and she also had it ready earlier than our check in time and offered an earlier arrival, just wish we could’ve made it. My husband and I live about an hour away and just needed a relaxing weekend getaway and this place did not disappoint. The only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer. This lovely cottage is now at the top of our list of places to stay. We loved everything about it. So many things we loved. Loved being so close to the stream, the jacuzzi, the FULLY stocked kitchen, the complementary bottle of wine, the fireplace, and that we were able to use it, very neat and clean, the list goes on. Even though we don’t have a dog at the moment we hope in the future that they are able to remain pet friendly. We will be returning. "
Spruce Run Hideaway, Log Cabin Alone On 245 Acres Of Forest, Lewisburg Pa
10/10 Excellent
"Clean cozy cabin. Gas fireplace was great to take the chill off after some time in the snow. Added plus for us old folks the two main bedrooms on the first level."
"The listing for this cabin is extremely misleading. The cabin is listed as including a toilet and a shower in the unit, however the toilet is a located in a common building about 300 yards away from the cabin. We were never able to determine the location of the showers. Apparently there are showers near the pool which is driving distance from the cabin. The listing SHOULD be updated to CLEARLY state that there is NO bathroom, NO running water, NO shower in the cabin. Additionally, it should state that the bathroom facilities are located by exiting the unit and walking to them, also to be clearly noted is that shower facilities are driving distance away from the cabin. We were also told that the bathrooms with the toilets and the sink close at 10 pm, so if you have to use the rest room in the middle of the night, the close facility would be locked. Fortunately during our stay they did not lock them at night, however beware they may, which would be extremely inconvenient. I was not even sure where the back up toilets were located. The cabin was clean, the bed sheets and blankets were soft and of nice quality. Some of the furniture was beat up and dated. The bunk beds were very narrow with thin mattresses. There is a small window AC unit in the cabin that did keep the unit cool. I am extremely annoyed that the listing is so misleading and would not stay at this cabin again. Cabin is about a 20 to 25 minute drive to Bucknell."
