A memorable stay!
We enjoyed very much our stay at the White House Lodge. Suzann and her husband are amazing hosts! The meals were delicious and with generous portions. The room was cozy and clean. With a view on the valley, you cannot beat the scenery, especially at sunrise!

Fantastic
Beautiful place, friendly, helpful host. Great pool area and super views. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. All in all, can't fault our stay.

Wonderful stay at White House Lodge
The White House Lodge was wonderful and the proprietors delightful to work with. Room was very comfortable. Beautiful surroundings to view while enjoying a full, delicious breakfast. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

It's located near the airport in Nelspruit and Kruger National Park. The hostess was very helpful and a great cook. Dinner was excellent. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Lovely Stay
Perfect although short stay. Would’ve liked to stay another night to enjoy the pool and relax. Awesome swing overlooking valley. Suzanne was very nice and a great hostess. Everything we needed was provided even a hairdryer!

Spacious and great views
Rooms were spacious and clean. Fantastic pool area with outdoor lounge with an African feel. As we were the only guests in this lodge we became spoilt by being able to use all facilities by ourselves such as enjoying the view over beautiful orchards of fruit trees from the hammock on the cliff. Great service. Entrance driveway needs improvements.

The location of the house is beautiful. It overlooks a tranquil valley and is designed to make the most of the location. The front of the house is open with a view of the valley and there is a large veranda in the front of the house as well. The common area has 24 hour tea and coffee and a well stocked honor bar. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I hope to stay there again soon!

Beautiful and relaxing lodging near Kruger Park
I should start by saying that this is an outstanding property that represents exceptional value for money. I stayed with my family at the White House Lodge for a night both before and after visiting the Kruger National Park. I selected the Lodge for its convenient location and based on reviews I'd read. On our first visit, we stayed in the main building and on our second visit we were in our own small self-contained house. Both visits were brilliant.. The Lodge is set in peaceful surroundings that afford stunning views over the local area. There is a lovely pool which is set in beautifully kept gardens. The rooms are immaculate and well appointed and throughout the property, the owners have added superb little touches that help make this property such a gem. There are some excellent restaurants nearby and for those that wish to shop, there is a good mall about 15 minutes drive from the property. The owners are welcoming and helpful and their professionalism and courtesy cannot be faulted. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend this property. My only regret is that we did not stay longer. I nearly forgot, the breakfast is awesome.

One of the best places i have stayed at . Room was spacious , well equipped , clean and the shower was fantastic. Service was really good , without being intrusive at all . The little extras , like the muffins , biscuits and fruit , as well as quality coffee available in the common area are a nice touch .

Very efficiently run establishment. Airport shuttle was timed perfectly and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Organised an amazing safari to Kruger Park for us. Cooked dinners on 2 nights and the food was excellent.

We were driving up to Kruger from Pongola and this was just an overnight. We picked this B & B because German dinners were offered, unfortunately you need 4 people but owner directed us to nice restaurant close by. Breakfast was just okay.

Oasis in the night.
We left Tambo Airport (Jo'burg) in the mid afternoon after spending 2 nights on planes. Just after nightfall, we encountered very challenging traffic in the mountains west of Nelspruit. We finally arrived at the White House Lodge around 830pm. We were very tired. Susann was waiting for us in the driveway with a smile and fantastic attitude. We were so relieved. Beautiful place with great views and wonderful property. The next day, Susann provided a cooked-to-order breakfast and then gave us excellent advice regarding our next day travel to Kruger Park - thankfully we followed her advice! I will definitely return next time I am in South Africa.

We were warmmly welcomed by the proprietors who also prvoided excellent advice regarding local restaurants and Kruger. Lodgings were very clean and comfortable ; excellent beds, showers etc. Breakfast spread was also well presented and copious; We would recommend to friends and stay again. Also excellent value compared to another inn we stayed at in the area that cost more and was not as nice as this one.

Great for Kruger
We stayed for one night before our safari @ Kruger. It was a wonderful experience. The owners made us feel very welcome from the moment we were picked up, & our room was even upgraded! There is a wonderful homey feeling & the dinner & breakfast that was provided was great! Since we had to leave early the next morning, Susann even gave us an "early" breakfast. The property is lovely with wonderful views, backyard & swimming pool. About 45 minute drive to Kruger. would definitely recommend!

Relaxing and Romantic atmosphere
The cottage we stayed at went way beyong our expectations. We chose to stay here after a long week on safaris and we were looking for a place to relax that was close to the airport. We picked the perfect place! There is a big swing that overlooks the beautiful countryside. The property is well kept and the service was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this to any young couple who is looking for some privacy and relaxation time!

I chose the White House lodge based on its reviews and location to the airport. My flight arrived too late to make the drive to Kruger before the gates closed so I decided to stay at the White House lodge which was a wise choice. My room was nice spacious and clean and the owners were extremely nice. Breakfast was nice and the coffee was great. I would definitely stay here again.
