Fabulous holiday home!

Pros: The pool was superb! Lots of outside space to enjoy the sunshine! The small town was only a five minute walk away to amenities! The few restaurants that were open were very good value, the chemist was required whilst away and the staff were extremely knowledgeable! The supermarket had everything you needed also! Cons: I enjoyed all of the holiday! To have made it perfect, I do believe maybe some extra sunbeds would be useful! As it’s a property for 6 people, there were only three sunbeds. And the kettle is travel size, so for the same reason, a larger kettle would avoid having to boil it twice to have more than 3 cups at a time! But these are minor issues, the property really is excellent value! The town doesn’t have many restaurants or bars, or early season they are not open!

Kleine villa, met een zeer minimale inrichting. 1 bank, 2 stoelen en een eettafel. Prima voor twee p

Pros: Kleine villa, met een zeer minimale inrichting. 1 bank, 2 stoelen en een eettafel. Prima voor twee personen, ev met een kind. Meer dan dat en je zit flink op elkaars lip. Er is veel net niet stuk in de woning. Horren voor de ramen zijn aan elkaar getaped, gordijnen hangen net aan, aan de houders. Keuken is eenvoudig, maar netjes. Er is een vaatwasser en een wasmachine in de keuken ingebouwd. Er staat een allegaar aan keukengerei en veel spullen die door vorige bewoners is achtergelaten. Dit is een “filosofie” welke ook in de welkomsmap staat. Laat bruikbare spullen achter voor de huurders na jou... Buiten is veel ruimte rondom het (kleine) zwembad. Helaas werkt de buitenverlichting niet en moeten we het doen met twee felle witte spaarlampen. Wel staan er twee zithoeken in de tuin, dus men kan goed buiten ontbijten en of zonnen. Helaas (maar daar kan de verhuurder niets aan doen) heeft iedere buurman in de nabije omgeving een hond. Deze groep honden proberen elkaar uren achter elkaar af te troeven in blafpotentie. Dat gaat na twee weken wel goed vervelen. Kortom: leuk klein huisje, welke vooral geschikt is om te slapen en s ochtends te ontbijten. Als men daarna de mooie omgeving (niet de urbanisatie zelf, daar is niets te doen) gaat verkennen. Een auto ter beschikking hebben is haast een must. Wat tevens opvalt is dat de “beheerder” welke de opvang doet, de borg incasseert (zonder betaalbewijs) de sleutels overhandigt en de elektra stand opneemt en weer weg is. Er wordt niet gewezen op defecten in het huis, en op de werking van bv lichten of airco. Deze laatste werkt overigens prima. (In de huiskamer en 1 slaapkamer, de 2e slaapkamer heeft een plafond fan) Wij waren voor twee volle weken, waarin we iedere avond de airco aanhadden voor de nacht, een kleine 65.- aan elektra kwijt.
