"Absolutely loved our stay. The staff are so helpful and looked after us so well. Especially the lovely lady who looked after us each morning at breakfast. We were sad saying goodbye to her on our last morning. We loved our room and treated ourselves to room service one of the nights and that was top marks. We ate in the bar another night and down in the Cottage too, couldn’t fault any of them. The only thing that could have improved our stay was the temperature of the pool. Okay for us adults...

"We were a bit concerned when we arrived. The receptionist was not terribly friendly nor welcoming. We wondered if we were at the wrong place. Mayo Abbey Ruin Founded by St Colman of Lindesfarne circa 670, St Colman's Famine church was opened in 1845 and is located off to the left, to the right is the Grave Yard where my Wife's Grandparents and other Kin are buried. I heard a humming coming from the fireplace in the ruin and stuck my head inside, I soon beat a hasty retreat when I realized there was a Bee's nest within.
