"We loved the cottage. It was very cozy and enjoyable to be in. The bed was very comfortable and we slept great. The lake view was beautiful and at night, the stars were closer than we have ever seen, so big and so bright. We saw loons and geese. The host was great. We had a little trouble getting used to unlocking the front door, but once we figured it out, it was easy after that."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It only took a few hours to settle into the old school comfort of a home clearly filled with love and not be overwhelmed with today's standards of tenants. The big fireplace, braided rugs and comfy furniture are exactly what I need to unwind. The nigh time darkness and quiet of the area were a bonus and welcoming to these city folk. I haven't slept that good in a while. The house was clean and the kitchen was easy to work in once I took inventory of the supplies."

"Hosts Denis and Lori were friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, and ready to help if needed. Lori gave a thorough tour of the home and property. They were both quick to communicate. The setting is amazing with lots of windows to view spectacular sunsets over the water and the perfect place to watch mist rising off the water in the morning. As it happened, we were there to see the full moon reflecting in the water! We saw a kingfisher, a heron, and an eagle while spending time at the home. The home has comfortable furnishings, modern appliances, beautifully finished hardwood floors and doors, and a good amount of room to move around. The large windows look on the lake in the master bedroom and livingroom. It's substantial in size; it has room and beds to easily accommodate a good-sized family. We enjoyed a great week in this lovely home on the lake!"

"This little cabin has all you need. We visit Casco every year, and this is one of our favorite places to stay. Parker Pond is small, but full of the fish and wildlife you want to see, without the vast expanse of water, and big, noisy boaters of a large lake. I esp like the gradual slope from cabin to lake edge, instead of the steep pitch other lots on this lake have. Thanks also to our guest contact, for answering all our questions."
