Welcome to our small peaceful farm, where you can unwind in a brand new one-bedroom sleep out with kitchenette. Relax on the property, explore our garden, or enjoy private use of the sauna - all just 10 minutes from Kai Iwi beach and a short drive to Whanganui.

You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.
Cosy guest sleep out with sauna on dairy farm
* No cleaning fees :) *
Relax and unwind on our small peaceful farm guest sleep out.
One bedroom one bathroom sleep out with kitchenette.
One king size bed and a pull out sofa bed. Would suggest this for children only for the limited room.
Can provide a travel cot for infants if organised in advance.
10 mins away from Kai Iwi beach and a 20-25mins drive to Whanganui. We are situated on the main highway but far enough to not hear traffic.
Great location for kids to run around.
The space
The sleep out is located right behind our house and the exterior is a work in progress. The sleep out itself is brand new and you are more than welcome to wonder around our garden. There is also a sauna for your private use if you wish.
We have kids, a cat and a dog (golden retriever) and some chooks (free eggs for breakfast?!) on the property.
We also have cows as this is a dairy farm.
We supply tea, coffee, milk etc but otherwise the accommodation is self catered.
There is an oven/toaster and bbq for heating meals however no cooktop so please plan meals accordingly.
Guest access

Keep in mind that we have small children and a dog - we will try our best to keep you unbothered during your stay but be aware of it.

Quiet country location, close enough to beaches that the drive was doable, and friendly pets. Cute and comfy accommodations. Hosts were good at communicating and very responsive. Property was as listed. I’d recommend it to others.

Lovely stay with a little one
We enjoyed 2 lovely nights at this property. The space is small, but has everything you need plus a few luxuries (loved the coffee machine). We were travelling with our 1 year old and having the back garden to explore was great! Would definitely recommend/stay again.

Great spot & Super host
Fantastic spot to stop and rest after a hard weekend hiking on Mt Taranaki. Property was clean, well appointed and modern. Host was super helpful to organise a dinner meal for us which was not something normally provided. Lots of nice extras available too (drinks and snacks) with an honesty box to pay - a nice touch. Would def recommend.

What a lovely spot.So clean and fresh.Once unpacked we were welcomed by the gentle retriever and cat.Really quiet and restful.Welcomed each morning by the cat waiting at a window for a head scratch. Next time we sre down that way we will stay again.Host was awesome.

5 star tiny living on family farm in Pākaraka
Cute lil getaway with all the lux you need. Photos are accurate! coffee in the morning w fresh milk from their cows offered (so creamy), sauna right outside your door. Owners are lovely and very hospitable. Was a tiny home but just superb for a weekend away.
