"Great place to stay in the airport vicinity (public bus to terminal takes about 10 minutes and leaves every half an hour - $8 per person). Hotel staff was excellent, provided a fan on a hot day, let us leave luggage for 3 days in a locked room, booked an additional right with a great rate. Hotel looks like it was just renovated, clean, modern looking rooms. Breakfast was also great: - 0630a - 1000a full breakfast, (0400a - 0630a with a limited choices), - Coffee and tea available for most of the day, Highly recommended. I would definitely stay there again. "

"I travel frequently to Oslo and normally I choose the Radisson blue which is a short walk from the main terminal. This time I decided to go with the scandal and I have to say the hotel more than met my expectations. The restaurant was good. They have a small bar area and an outdoor seating area that I thoroughly enjoyed. The room is exactly what you would expect from the Scandic chain. It was clean and relatively well appointed. I could’ve used a couple of extra pillows in the room, and the only detractor was that I could not control the temperature in the room as it seemed to be set centrally and it was relatively warm outside, so the room felt a little stuffy. For a hotel with this proximity to the runway, I will say that the noise levels were manageable, and in fact with the windows closed, the room was incredibly quiet. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again."

"The property was very clean and modern. Beds were comfortable and it was very quiet. We had a lot of trouble finding the property from the airport and it was a longer walk than I hoped but I would stay again. The staff were lovely and breakfast was excellent."
