"Main Lodge is an oasis in Maun. It was a great place to stay before and after any safari to Botswana. The place is very nice, clean and convenient to the airport (free shuttle). The dining is onsite and DELICIOUS!"

"Unfortunately, we had a very mixed stay, with overall disappointment. Starting with the positives, Nokanyana is in a very nice setting, the staff on the property (restaurant, front desk, support functions) were all exceptional - attentive and friendly. The room was spacious and we had everything we needed. Where Nokanyana failed spectacularly is what actually mattered to us most given the location: game drives. Our driver / guide got stuck in sand, something that could happen to anybody (even though it did not happen to us tourists with no training in how to do it). What was shocking is how not "

"DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL THROUGH EXPEDIA!!!! The hotel exists but states they do not have a contract with Expedia. We showed up to our pre-paid booking confirmed by Expedia and the hotel told us that our booking didn’t exist due to not having an agreement with Expedia. The hotel was fully booked which left us out a lot of money, which the hotel also mentioned was not consistent with their rate which was multiple times lower than the noted rate through Expedia. Expedia did not refund us because they couldn’t get a hold of the facility. You would think that not being able to contact the property would suggest the fraud. No refund for us through Expedia. This is absolutely disappointing and we will not be using Expedia again for any form of travel. Stick to Bookings.com. "

"Staff is helpful, room is good and clean. I know we are in Botswana and I don’t expect air conditioner for rooms because electric power is from solar panel. I hope hotel can keep in mind one very important thing: don’t supply spaghetti made of yuca, for many people including us, this yuca will cause severe food allergy, which lasted for two days. "
