"We enjoyed Manny and Amal’s place. It was a short walk from the beach. Beautiful garden and very welcoming hosts. It is a basement apartment which kept it cool on hot days. The kitchen had more of a toaster oven than an oven but otherwise was usable with some creativity. The grill was great. Having only one key was tricky but we worked it out. A keypad entry would be a great upgrade. We were welcomed with homemade cookies and would definitely stay again."

"First the positives, it was clean and it had everything needed for us. It was just two of us, I think any more than 2 two and it would be small. We were in town for the holiday and did not spend a lot of time in the rental. It was well equipped and safe. As others have said, I didn't realize it was a basement apartment until we arrived and I looked closely at the listing. "This was the perfect, in town place to stay for the two of us. Located on a quiet street of well-maintained homes, and with parking right outside, it was a short 1-1/2 block walk to all the shops, restaurants, ferry, docks, etc. The apt is small, but clean and tidy, sun-filled and air-conditioned. We loved staying here and will again in the future."

"This place was nice and roomy for our family of 8 plus 3 littles kiddos. Pretty clean as well. I gave listing accuracy a 5 because it is accurate but that may be because it doesn't tell you much. We were a little short on towels, many light bulbs were burnt out or just missing. We replaced some (they were there) and moved others to balance out the light. No kitchen linens, short on bath towels, short on paper towels and definitely not enough TP. 3 partial rolls and 1 bathroom had none so we had...

"Most of these reviews give less than 5 stars because it’s outdated, which it is, but other than that I love my stay. I had no issues. Front desk staff were super friendly. Coffee machine in the room which was nice. Great area and location too, a lot of restaurants in walking distance. They are in the middle of renovations so keep that in mind but I’m excited to come back when it’s completed!! "
