This was a very nice hotel in a great location. Unfortunately the entire Rambla is under construction and it was a huge mess. Not the hotel’s fault but a huge inconvenience and disappointment

Great location, comfortable space, huge bathroom - but little privacy with a sliding non-locking bathroom door.

We enjoyed our stay at the Olivia Plaza so much we booked again! The staff is amazing and always super helpful. You can’t beat the breakfast here, walking distance to anything you could need the list goes on and on. Highly recommend.

20/20 experience! This was one of the best hotel stays we’ve had. The hotel is modern, new, and exceptionally clean. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The food was excellent, the location was perfect for exploring Barcelona, and the value for the price was outstanding. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona.

The Lamaro is a beautiful hotel in a perfect location in the gothic quarter. The front desk staff seemed overwhelmed at times. The elevators were small and wait times for them were lengthy, at times. My room was pleasant but I had a view of a wall. In my opinion, the property is not a 5 star hotel. The towels were extremely hard and I couldn’t figure out how to get the coffee machine in my room to work. There is a rooftop bar with a stunning view of the cathedral and city. Overall it’s a lovely hotel, but I guess I was expecting a little more for $400 US a night.
