"Connie was extremely helpful and welcoming. The breakfast casserole, as many others have stated, was delicious. The room and bathroom were amply sized for our needs. We would stay here again!"
"Location to the busy areas of Freeport is steps away from this quiet oasis. Very nice innkeepers and staff will be there to make your stay pleasant while allowing you the privacy of a hotel guest.
We stayed one night on our way home from mid coastal Maine and enjoyed our stay. "
"The place is conveniently located and close to the sites we wanted to visit. There is also a beautiful historic church (St. John the Baptist) close by."

"I love the convenience to Freeport shopping, the interstate and the quietness. The rooms are great, but I feel like. The carpets could’ve been a little cleaner and the vent in our bathroom did not work as well as it could have overall it was a great day. Would stay there again."
"My husband and I have been vacationing on the coast of Maine. This location has fabulous breakfast and is convenient to shops and restaurants. We loved the place and the people. However, we felt like the bed was too firm. The window units either froze you or you were too warm. "
Beautiful farmhouse with hiking trails/kayaking. 5 minutes to town or ocean!
10/10 Excellent
"We had a fantastic stay at the Tripping Gnome Farm Guest House! The house itself is absolutely beautiful — spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable, perfect for our two families with kids ranging from 4–9. Every detail is thoughtfully designed, and the turf house was a big hit with the kids as their own little secret hangout spot.We filled our days kayaking, hiking, playing on the fun disc golf course, and picking up delicious farm-fresh produce from the charming farm store. Robin and Harry were such gracious and welcoming hosts — they made us feel right at home. The location is also perfect: peaceful and scenic but still close to everything we wanted to do in the area. We can’t wait to come back soon!"
"Love Maryanne and Bill. Great food and accommodations and a real homey feel. I’ve stayed here yearly for 3 years and intend to continue to stay here when I am in Freeport."
"Lovely apartment right in town. Nicely appointed 2BR for our family of four. Close to all area attractions including easy in and out to the Interstate for longer trips. Owner checked in often to see if anything was needed."
