Simple Pleasures at the River

"Jan made sure we had no problems checking in and suggested some highlights of the area. The cabin was well furnished and had ample recreation supplies. Access to the river was a bit tricky but manageable for an afternoon of cooling off and watching the tubers and kayakers float by. The spa & fire ring are also an added plus. Close to town for dining opportunities. Easy drive to Shenandoah NP. Definitely deserves a return visit."

"Exeeded expectations. My daughter texted me saying " Dad, it's legit." Lol - I didn't understand what that meant but my son said they really like it. It's a real hand hewn log cabin. Has a great "vibe" - per my sons and daughter. The kayaks, life jackets, paddles and other equipment were well cared for, clean and ready to use. Great view from the screened in porch. We would recommend it and stay there again."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The view is amazing and the proximity to both the National Park and to Luray was a big draw for us.We took full advantage of the outdoors while we were here and our kids really enjoyed the game room when we returned.The only small gripes we had were about the kitchen and lack of dishwasher. Very small trade off.We would consider staying again."

"We had a great time at the cabin. The proximity to the river and available kayaks was great. We loved being greeted by Pumpkin the cat outside our cabin. It was also a lot of fun to see the animals on the farm. The trail on the property was a nice touch too. Our favorite part was having a fire outside and stargazing while listening to the bugs. Never experienced anything like it!"
