Villa Lia was perfect! We had a wonderful time and cannot justly describe how beautiful the view was from the Villa – perched on a cliff above the Bay of Naples and the Mediterranean with a view across to the Island of Capri - every evening we got to see the most magnificent sunsets! From the villa it’s a nice walk along the water to the small harbor where there are bars, restaurants, a small grocery store and boat tours to Capri, Amalfi and Positano – so convenient! And Sorrento is just a short taxi ride away – it was nice to stay at the peaceful Villa Lia with the dazzling view, and still be close to beautiful Sorrento with its many shops, restaurants, history, trains and busses.And our hosts, Martina and Raffaele were marvelous! Martina was always available and made many dinner and tour reservations for us as well as took me to the grocery store and butcher shop to stock up on supplies for my month’s stay. Also, a shout out to Giacomo, the property repair person and Tarun, our cleaner, for taking care of anything we needed in the Villa.
