We had a great time at sapphire rooms. The room was clean and was directly overlooking a small beach.
The owners were lovely and helped us find parking. We loved our stay and would 100% return! We wish we’d been able to stay longer.
The location is perfect, just steps from the water with lots of great dining options. Although difficult to get to it is worth the trek.
The rooms are comfortable but very minimalistic. TV didn’t work and some of the fixtures are falling apart, but a very enjoyable stay.
Great location in a little fishing village right on the sea! Several dining options just outside our door. Excursions to Amalfi and Positano as well as Capri. The only negative was that we were not provided with fresh towels
Beautiful space - a tiny little hotel that’s nestled away from the big city. Throw a rock and it lands in the ocean. Restaurants all over - they are all helpful, though coming down to the bay and back up requires planning - ask locals for a ride to town - they will gladly drive you for a few euros. Hotel room was nice but cozy. Very romantic. No front staff or any special bells and whistles but for an Italian honeymoon this is perfect and very memorable
The property is less than 100ft from a beach area, which is quite nice. Though you must take a little cart down the hill after taxiing to the parking lot, this little hideaway is well worth it. Warning: it can be hard to catch taxis from the parking lot. We recommend trying to do so around noon when other people are heading to the beach or scheduling one ahead of time. Getting one before 11am is near impossible. Despite that, this was our favorite stay when we went to Italy. Stunning views of the sunset and a few restaurants nearby. Plus, the staff were very friendly! Maid service was phenomenal. Even with us tracking in sand each day from the beach (it was unavoidable), we came back to spotless floors each afternoon. Our biggest regret is not staying for longer! 12/10 would come back
The fridge didn‘t work, but was replaced. The TV didn‘t work, but was not important to us. The ghair dryer stopped while using, but worked again later on.
The location is perfect for a quiet stay far from the usual touristical huzzle

I do not recommend this place at all. To get to the hotel is the biggest mission and you get no assistance from the hotel at all. You have to go down a massive hill that cars can’t get down and with luggage it is very difficult. Further the rooms were small and the beds were very uncomfortable.
The view from the room was nice. The area around the hotel was good with the beach right there.
Unfortunately we had a family emergency come up and we had to leave the hotel 2 days into our 7 day trip. We contacted the hotel via message as there is never a person at reception. We never received a response to our message that we had to leave. The morning we were leaving we got a knock on the door in the morning asking if we were leaving. The hotel read our message and never responded to us. We were really disappointed. Stay in the main town of Sorrento, you can get much better places with better service and better prices.
The property itself was nice and clean, the town was quiet and felt safe, there were good dining options. The biggest con was that the ability to get a taxi into the town of sorrento was lacking and when you could get a taxi it was 25-60€ per way. The taxis were not able to get down the narrow steep road into the town. The other option was to take a bus into town or walk along the side of the road which was very unsafe as there was no shoulder and the cars would be passing you about a foot away at times and took about 45 minutes per way. We felt kind of trapped in the town with not a lot to do unless you walked into Sorrento.
Positive comments:
Room was clean, being able to walk to dinner, and the view was fantastic.
Not so positive comments:
Hard to find, the parking was terrible, trying to find where to check in, having to pay cash, when we checked out, because the facility couldn’t go through Expedia, and they would only except cash! I booked this through Expedia.
Had to hire a shuttle to go to the car and back, and had to pay the driver each time. We were shuttled back and forth with a golf cart. It was not part of our fee for staying overnight.
This was not mentioned at the time of booking.
The information for all of this was not explained!
Not worth it for a one night stay!!!!
My sister and I stayed here for three nights and it was lovely! We wanted to be right on the beach and this was a perfect location, very quiet with a couple of good restaurants just next door. The only issue was getting up and down the hill to the main street. One night a taxi drove us to a parking lot on the hill so we only had about a 5 minute walk down to the hotel, but taking the bus from the main city leaves you all the way at the top and it can be a bit steep. We also found it difficult to get a ride up from the bottom; one morning we were lucky to run into someone on a golf cart who charged us six euro to take us up. Otherwise, this is a lovely place and just outside Sorrento, so it's a quick ride in and out of the city!

The location on the beach was perfect for what we were looking for for a few days of our 10-day trip to Italy. It is very remote. Please note that most vehicles cannot even make it down to the village. You have to park up in an olive Grove and get taken down by a buggy, which no one explained to us before we got there so there was lots of confusion. If you want to be on the beach, the location is ideal. But, we did have some issues with the room. The overhead shower fixture did not work at all the entire time we were there so we had to use the wand. The air conditioning didn't work two of the 3 days and nobody could fix it. There was also a very loud party at the restaurant next door to us, which we generally wouldn't mind if we would have known ahead of time. But nobody explained that to us while we were there so that went on until about 1: 00am. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. Other than those issues, we enjoyed our stay.

Forvent middels standard, men en fantastisk solnedgang.
Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour à Sappire Room. Vue magnifique sur l’océan, lit confortable, air climatisée efficace, gens serviable et agréable! Merci!!
