We always welcome work crews that come into town... especially the ones that truely enjoy the space and are kind and friendly with waves and smiles even when we don't have a chance to talk. Hope you come back to the area again!

We would like to think that magical experiences happen here, but to have extra showers appearing just because someone wanted to add more people to their group, seems a bit unrealist and hence why we do cap the limit of how many people can stay in the house. The house has baseboard electric heaters with thermostats on the walls that you can adjust. It doesn't take long for the main rooms to heat up after you turn them on. The email they received weeks before told them where they could buy wood for the wood stove, they didn't bring any and said they wanted to use some of mine, Being Thanksgiving Day, I gave them more than enough for one night and started the fire for them and showed them how to use it. They came back a couple hours later and took all but a couple pieces of wood I cut for my holiday weekend. I have no clue how they could go through that much wood. Too many 4 stars we can lose our premier partnership ranking. We don't need your booking, if you have to make up silly reasons to downgrade our service.

The best and worse part of having a vacation rental is you get people coming in for short stays for an awesome variety of seminars and activities.... some are people that you may only talk to briefly... yet wish they would come back again before they leave. Hope you have to come to town for training again!!

This is a mid 1800's farmhouse, although the house has been renovated, uneven floors and quirky layouts of how the house grew in 150 years adds to its charm. The great thing is as it was built to house large families, it is great for guests in groups who like to slip in and go to their event and leave with little interaction with others.

Loved having Jeannie and her family stay. So Fun helping or being a part of fun family gatherings, whether getting things ready for the campfire, outdoor meals or the multiple outdoor games or the indoor board games to chose from. No matter which season it is it is a great space to enjoy family togethersness!! Hope you come again!

Sharon I hope you all can come back! From the start it was a pleasure working with you to make sure that your stay was best experience possible! It is the perfect set up to play board games or cards. Those corner shelves seemed to be made to stack board games! So glad you were able in such a quick trip get the relaxing benefits of our rustic farmhouse in the country!

Its so fun to have a groups come in for family events and weddings. With our setup they get to extend the fun experience into the evening by the campfire! So enjoyed having your group Wendy, hope you come again!!

We love having construction crews staying here and getting to know them. Adam's group was fun and a pleasure to have stay with us. It's hard to be away from home on a jobsite, most of the crews have enjoyed the outdoor space as well as the inside space to relax and feel like their home away from home instead of a typical hotel room. We look forward to having Adams group return!!

So love having family reunions and get togethers. What a special time and great memories created during even the briefest stays! Come on back Billie Jo, we will love to see you again!

We love having Gabi's group stay with us they are always such a delight and Gabi is awesome to work with!! It is so fun to now being able to say we are now and being on TV and not just in the movies!!!

It is always so wonderful when guests have that special get together here after a wedding, graduation or celebration of life, when they are stress free and can really enjoy each others company and talk about the event. So glad we have the space inside and out to accommodate the brunch spread that you all prepared. It was great meeting your family! Come back again!

What a great family! It is so great to be able to see families get together for such joyful occasions. What a delight and privilege it is to have a home that is so inviting to those types of celebrations and so close to MSU. That allows family and friends can be a part of the excitement, yet able to relax quietly in the country. Hope you can come back again!

We love having work crews stay! These guys didn't disappoint, they were great guests and treated the property as their own! It's nice having the extra space for big work vehicles. And space within the house to unwind after work. Hope you get another contract and come back soon!

What a great time watching this extended family get together for their favorite rivalry game. You know at least 1/2 the group wins!! Fun Group, loved having them stay.

Unfortunately we are really unable to predict how long it will take someone to drive thru campus especially during homecoming. There are several ways to get on campus, so if 10 minutes is going to drastically mess up the quality of your stay, we recommend you booking early so you can get into the hotel on campus to accommodate your group, or at least ask us and we can give you an accurate map of the fastest way we know to get there. The Pavilion is about 7 miles north of us, usually takes under 10min. Kellogg Center is about 15minutes without events.

What a delight to be able to contribute to making your family get together so memorable. So fun watching the grandkids be able to easily drive in for as much of the get together they could squeeze into their schedule. I look forward to having you all back; very much enjoyed your whole extended family!!

I truly love having extended families enjoy all or part of their vacations and trips here. Having the Master bedroom on the first floor is such a plus. I am very happy you have a family close by so you have a great reason to come back and visit again, as new friends are the best part of hosting! And I so enjoyed you and your family

So enjoyed having this group of professionals in for a conference at MSU. They not only got to have a great conference but a fantastic girls getaway trip also. Will welcome them back anytime!

This group graciously left a note explaining I should be clearer: there are horses (on a horse ranch); Chickens are also there (hence the fresh free range eggs). So you may see someone feeding/watering them. Since they showed up with 8 cars, not 2 and blocked the drive, I had to show them twice where to park. Otherwise, the longest I was around the house was gathering stuff for their campfire since they came with only a lighter. The chores I had left to finish since they arrived early wasn't even close to the house. What I thought was kindness they thought was invasion of privacy and autonomy. We are a fun relaxing place to get away from all the chaos in the world. Obviously it wasn’t a good fit for them.

I was heartbroken when I saw we didn't exceed expectations for a Rustic Farmhouse for your group. But then you texted me and said you DID give us a 5 Star and don't know why it showed up lower. We work extremely hard to give 5 star service as we can lose our premier partner status without them. We really enjoyed having your group! It was great your work group was able to stay, play and eat together and you were able to enjoy the cost savings of not staying at a hotel. And enjoying the animals to boot!!

Ryan so glad you and your group shared your golf weekend with us. What a great way to have your family reunion/guys/golf weekend and have enough space to really hang out together!! So enjoyed hosting your group!! I do hope you guys come back soon!
