We loved the booklet in the room which included staff recommendations for restaurants and sites; that was a nice personal touch. Breakfast was excellent. "Charming room in a historic house. Friendly host. Simple and satisfying breakfast. Coffee and snacks available 24/7. Friendly cat, who wasn't supposed to be in our part of the house, but for a few minutes, there he was. Entryway and breakfast room has literature about history of village of Laurens and the original owners of the house."
