Casa Veneta, ancient residence, welcoming renovated, located in the center

It is certainly a house that gets out of the crowd, it is a Venetian style building, dating back to the late 1700s early 1800s; it is a house full of charm, divided into two houses, one more modern, the other is furnished with its original furniture, both are in great demand, inside, they each have 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 recently renovated bathrooms , with comfortable shower cubicle; there is also a Jacuzzi air conditioning, two living rooms with fireplace, two kitchenettes, satellite TV. Both houses have two huge terraces overlooking one of the village square, the other on the large garden. Although located in the center, Casa Veneta is an oasis of tranquility at the foot of the hills, a stone's throw from S. Daniele, home of the ham, less than an hour from the famous seaside resorts of Grado and Lignano, very close to the largest Friuli shopping center, just 3 km. and 8 km. from the city of udine. A bus that goes to the city of udine stops every hour a few steps from home, during the summer, the square comes alive with bars and restaurants. This house also hosts a single couple at a cost of 60 € per night, of course the maximum cost is for 7 people.

Kurzer Aufenthalt im Sommer

Wir haben uns in dem interessanten alten Haus für 3 Tage sehr wohlgefühlt. Es gibt sehr viel Platz. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett. Zum Glück gab es in den Schlafräumen Klimaanlagen. Über das Frühstück durch die Gastgeber haben wir uns sehr gefreut.

Ruhiges und nicht von Touristen überlaufenes Städtchen. Ideale Ausgangslage für Ausflüge nach Slowenien, in die Berge oder ans Meer.

Altes, museales Herrenhaus

Wir waren drei Ehepaare, die diese Wohnung für vier Nächte Mitte Oktober gebucht hatten. Etwas erstaunt nahmen wir zur Kenntnis, dass dieses Quartier ein B&B ist und wurden gleich bei der Ankunft am Abend mit dem gedeckten Frühstückstisch im Aufenthaltsraum überrascht. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns jedoch erklärt, dass Frühstück und Zimmerservice kostenlos seien. Ernüchternd war anfangs die Kälte in Küche, Aufenthaltsraum, Bad - während die Schlafzimmer gut geheizt waren. Auch die Dunkelheit in den Räumen (die Läden sollten geschlossen bleiben) gefiel uns nicht. Doch alles ließ sich einvernehmlich klären. Ab dem zweiten Abend wurde auf unsere Bitte hin der historische Kamin beheizt, die Küche konnte man benutzen, war aber sehr spärlich ausgestattet. Leider war es trotz warmen, schönen Sonnenwetters nicht möglich im parkähnlichen Garten zu sitzen. Die abgebildetes Gartenmöbel gab es nicht. Trotzdem, für die Unternehmungen im Friaul war das Quartier gut gelegen und nach den anfänglichen Unbehaglichkeiten, hatten wir eine nette, wenn auch ungewöhnliche Unterkunft.
