"I was there for a marathon with my family. The staff was friendly the hotel offered a restaurant, beach across the street and a nice roomie suite. Only downfall was to get up to the second floor, you had to use the stairs that were through the restaurant which made it difficult when unloading the vehicle, as you had to squeeze through a crowd of people. "Very relaxing, loved the different clubs available; beach, pool, tennis, playground for the little ones, bars and food. Some shops were closed due to being off season, but still enjoyed our stay. Looking forward to booking again "

"The room was tastefully furnished and clean. The hotel balcony overlooked the harbor and got morning sun: I had my morning coffee there. Staff respected my wish to not be disturbed during my 4-day stay but were present when I needed them. Water was hot and abundant. Hotel wifi was glitch-less and fast enough for my needs. Ferries to the mainland were within easy walking distance from the hotel, even with luggage (and taxis are readily available if you prefer to ride). Also within walking distance is a supermarket, an art theatre and plenty of restaurants (but no bars because Tisbury is a dry town). Local transit buses pass in front of the hotel and connect to all Island points (including to bars in nearby Oak Bluffs).
The hotel is comfortable, convenient and low cost (for the Island): what more do you need?"
Spacious home in central location with beautiful patio, pool table, W/D, & AC
10/10 Excellent
"This was a beautiful home and a very quiet area. It was a short approximately 10 minute walk to everything that Oak Bluffs has to offer. All rooms were spacious and comfortable. The large screen TV and pool table in the basement kept everyone busy. There was a nice assortment of games. The kitchen had everything one could ask for if he wanted to cook in."
Historic Oak Bluffs home, short walk to town, beach, and harbor.
10/10 Excellent
"Fun old house full of character. Great place to weather out the Nor’easter! Really appreciated the cable and strong wi-fi! Communication with owner was excellent! One caution, if anyone in your party has mobility issues, be aware that the “short walk” is about a half-mile. Also lots of stairs, including long, steep ones to the second floor."
"The home was gorgeously renovated and comes equipped with many extras from the outdoor entertaining area with grills, fire pit, and hot tub to a cooks dream kitchen filled with everything you need to make a great meal. We also enjoyed that there were many different board games and books to enjoy, and no one had to worry about running out of the necessities like TP. Even better was the location where it is a short half mile to the middle of downtown. Going to backdoor donuts late night was a hit. The beds were also very comfortable, and each room has its own mini split to ensure you can sleep at the right temperature. We were happy we brought our sound machines as the home is on a busier road, but overall, it was certainly a great place to gather and enjoy the beautiful island!"
Tranquil Home with Private Deck - Walk to Beaches and Downtown Oak Bluffs
8/10 Good
"The place was exactly as listed. It is an older house but very clean conditions. I just think they need to supply it better you definitely need a car. There was no coffee or anything in the house. You have to bring everything."
CHARMING HISTORIC ISLAND HOME--WEEKLY RENTAL-- OAK BLUFFS
10/10 Excellent
"If you love and have patience for old homes with character, this one is for you. If you like sleek and modern, this might not be it.Our crew had mixed feelings going in but the house very much grew on everyone. The bathroom situation was most challenging because people do not like baths but everyone learned the gift of outdoor showering. The kitchen was also hard to prepare food because of lack of counter space but we made it work. This house has 5 bedrooms, a massive porch and massive outdoor space. Everything one could want. And the pantry is WELL stocked. We were shocked to find things like pineapple corers and eggs slicers. We had a lovely time."
