Very nice hotel with old world charm, nice view of the water, and accommodating staff. They served breakfast starting at 7am instead of 8 just to accommodate us since we mentioned we had to take the ferry at 8:30 from Ærøskøbing. And the breakfast was amazing!

They just did not took us for dinner. We arrive late, hungry and tired. We could have eaten “anything” but no desire to serve. Breakfast starts late.

This place was amazing. Wonderful breakfast all freshly made baking. The view from the room was breathtaking. The staff members were knowledgeable and kind. I would have liked to have stayed longer.

Incredible views and amazing staff

We only stayed for one night. The staff was very welcoming and I felt like I was staying with my grandmother's home. It was very nice and comfortable. And the view! I can't even describe it. One downside is that there wasn't really thsy many places to eat. Definitely recommend this location. Will definitely be going back in the future

Das Zimmer war sehr ordentlich und sauber. Besonders schön fanden wir den Billardtisch und die vielen Tischspiele. Das Frühstück ab 8 Uhr ist unserer Meinung nach etwas spät. Schade war auch, dass die Panoramafenster – wie überall auf der Insel - schmutzig sind. Ein Minuspunkt noch: Im Zimmer gab es Spinnen und Moskitos

Meget slidt og manglende rengøring.

Hotellet ligger super fint med rigtig god udsigt. Dog er hotellet meget slidt og beskidt - og slem lugt fra vandlås på badeværelset, hvor døren ikke kunne lukkes ! Vinduerne var så beskidte, at udsigten var, ikke eksisterende - der var flere store edderkopper og hermed også en del spindelvæv på værelserne (ikke rengjort). Udenfor hang parasol i laser - måske værtsparret skulle gå en rundtur og være lidt synlige! Kan anbefales hvis der blev gjort rent, ellers ikke.

Hotellet byder på en fantastisk udsigt, som virkelig løfter oplevelsen. Der er en hyggelig og charmerende stemning i gangarealerne, næsten med badehotel-stemning – desværre er denne atmosfære ikke helt gennemført på resten af hotellet. Der er tydeligt behov for en renovering og opdatering af både værelserne og hotellets generelle standard. Særligt madrasserne trænger til udskiftning, da de er meget slidte. Det var også en udfordring at få håndklæderne tørre på værelset, hvilket trækker ned i komforten. Til gengæld skal morgenmaden have ros – den var virkelig dejlig og var med til at starte dagen godt.

Helt fantastisk beliggenhed. Hvis man er til badning er der mulighed for dette lige nedenfor hotellet, hvor der er en lille badebro. Fint værelse. Dejlig morgenmad.

Hyggeligt hotel med fantastisk udsigt

Fantastisk udsigt og beliggenhed i det hele taget. Fælles områder er rigtig hyggeligt indrettet, fin morgenmad og en tillidsbar hvor man kan købe kaffe, øl, vand osv i løbet af dagen. Der kunne godt være gjodt lidt mere ud af indretningen på selve værelset. Sengene var gode. Der er kum rengøring hvis man har mere end 3 nætter. Dejligt med badebro lige nedenfor hotellet og meget venligt personale.

For dyrt

Egentligt et okay og fint hotel, men alt for dyrt målt i forhold til hvad man får for pengene. Det virker som om der er for lidt personale, og det personale der er, virker distret. Morgenbuffet kan jeg desværre kun give 1 ud af 5 stjerner :-( og det er lidt ærgeligt, da jeg er af den overbevisning, at morgenbuffen er en stor del af den samlede oplevelse.

Hotel Udsigten har gennem de seneste år gennemgået en stor renovering af værelser, lejligheder og fællesrum, således at hotellet indvendigt fremstår langt flottere og mere indbydende end tidligere. Vi glæder os til at se det færdige resultat, når tag og vinduer i de øverste etager er udskiftet. Eneste anke fra vores side, er at spisestuen føles ret trang, og at morgenbuffeten ikke fungerer optimalt under de trange forhold. Vi havde 3 dejlige dage, som vi nød i fulde drag. Vi vender tilbage😊

Virkelig dejligt hotel, tæt på vandet og byen. Tidligere alderdomshjem. Huset har historie, det kan jeg rigtig godt lide. Personalet er meget imødekommende, og hjælper gerne med stort og småt. Kan varmt anbefales.
