We had an amazing weekend at Braden’s Ridge retreat. The house was immaculate and had everything you need. We were in town visiting my son at Mars Hill University and the location was perfect. We couldn’t have booked a better home for our long weekend.
This was the best property my family has ever booked!! The layout of the house the the bedrooms, garage game room and the upstairs loft for all the cousins to sleep was magical!! Having a great outdoor space for kids to run around was a dream!! The highlight of the entire property of course was the neighbor's amazing horse, Maggie, at the bottom of the hill!! She was the friendliest horse and looooooved getting to see the kids everyday and get carrots and apples from them! I recommend this property 10/10!!
The house is amazing. Very clean and we felt at home. The house was stay ready. My ONLY CONCERN was the driveway up to the house. Luckily I was in my Silverado truck. You will really need an All wheel drive(4wd) to make the ride up to the house. The driveway has an immediate incline. My parents actually got stuck troll to make it up the mountain. 😂😂 But overall besides the driveway the house was awesome and I would actually stay there again
The house is beautiful, roomy, clean and very comfortable. The kitchen had every utensil you would need but was lacking kitchen towels and basic cooking condiments for the first day. The hot tub was disappointing. It never got hot and there were no instructions, especially regarding the cleaning pods use. Not sure if we missed this but the entrance to the house was scary if you didnt have a 4 wheel drive. With all the rain it was even worse and meant we had to be home before dark as there were no lights. Need to do something about the driveway and the pot holes.
A great place to stay lots of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone the A/C for the one bedroom upstairs was very weak we ended up closing the vents downstairs to get the upstairs comfortable, beds downstairs are definitely on the hard side other than that I’d definitely recommend this place One major HIGHLIGHT was the Bed porch swing we loved that
A beautiful home with stunning views! Great for a big group in a great outdoor setting. Beware of the driveway - it is long and extremely steep, 4WD is a must.
This was one of the best properties I have stayed at. The house was very clean and stocked with all the necessities. The kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, plates, etc. The hot tub was great and the views from the porch were great as well. The listing was accurate and the check in, check out info and directions from the host were helpful. I highly recommend this property and this host. I hope to be back for another vacation.

Beautiful Mountain House
This property was absolutely gorgeous. My friends and I enjoyed the space for a girls weekend and had a great time. I would certainly return, however I would be very cautious of the location. The house is on top of a mountain with loosely traveled road. It is not for the faint of heart and even if you do have 4WD/AWD, you still not make it up the steep driveway.
checkin was easy. was worried about the road up to the property, but in the end wasn't a big deal. but being steep and not well lit, we decided to get back every evening before dark. worked out great, because we took advantage of the great kitchen and cooked terrific dinners every night. we really enjoyed the hot tub, and the kids loved making smores by the firepit every night. property was beautifully decorated and everyone was comfortable in their rooms. kids really enjoyed the board games available, as well as the game room. the location was perfect for us to explore asheville and surrounding areas. cant wait to visit again.
One of the most beautiful VRBOs we’ve stayed in. New home with lovely decorating, awesome view, and every amenity one can think of. Not just hot tub and ping pong but keurig plus coffee pot, fully stocked kitchen, wood for firepit, detergent for laundry, basketball hoop, yard for football, wine and local popcorn, etc. So thoughtfully done. The driveway was a little scary, so I would not stay here in heavy rain or snow/ice. We managed to get up and down the driveway in our Toyota Sienna (2wd) but the weather was perfect (dry) and we couldn’t stop along the way or our wheels started spinning in the gravel. The first part of the driveway is the steepest but has some concrete to make it possible. Then the driveway is long (.3mi) and continues up with gravel. It might be possible to park at the bottom off the road but it would be a real pain trying to walk that driveway. I would definitely stay here again so long as the weather looks clear.
Our family loved our time here. Plenty of space for everyone! The house is gorgeous and the views are beautiful. The drive up to the house is steep and you need a 4x4, or all wheel drive vehicle. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
