"Phone cord kept falling out and front desk answered but could not hear you and hung up. All bulbs but one at vanity were unscrewed. Had to stand on a drawer to tighten bulbs to get light. Wouldnt staff have noted that? Sink drain broken. Bed clean. Keep your shoes on. "

"Gentleman checking us in spoke very little English. Floors in lobby were dirty. Our room smelled very musty like it used to be a smoking room possibly. Bedding had clearly not been washed after the prior guests. Pulled back sheets and found crumbs and hair in the beds. Hair on the pillow cases. Floors looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in quite some time. Bathroom was somewhat clean. Only positive was the shower had good water pressure. If it weren't so late when we checked in, I would have insisted on new bedding, different room, or moved to a different hotel altogether. Would not recommend. "

The parking garage is treacherous space wise, but geographical footprint is limited in a downtown/haymarket area, so tight spaces are expected. It was quiet even though we had seen no short of 1000 inebriated 20 somethings during our stay"
