New Hotel of Marseille
Lovely room, within walking distance of quay and manifold restaurants. Only drawback was lack of air conditioning as a result of the system not working. Wonderful and helpful staff, well appointed and numerous seating areas, and great art installations

Maisons du Monde Hôtel & Suites - Marseille Vieux Port
Very convenient to the port, busses, train, sights, etc. Took the train from Paris and it was an easy walk from the station. Great bed and air conditioning. Plenty of space.

The property overall is pretty dated. Carpets are old and the King room is pretty small. Quite a bit of cigarette stink in the rooms. Breakfast was very good and of high quality.
