"I was a little worried after reading the reviews - but the hotel is actually a gem. Its location is perfect, just across from a swim pier on the ocean. It has free stand up paddle boarding SUP, as well as free kayaks and free bikes. The pool area is good, although the pool itself is a little shallow but still welcome to cool off it. "The property is beautiful with lush gardens. The room upgraded room had a luxury rain shower. A second room with jacuzzi was attached to our suite.The staff was very helpful, calling taxis for us and reserving excursions. Unfortunately, we booked Monday thru Thursday. The dining room was closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. We did dine Monday and the food was excellent."

"Excellent having secure parking and couldn't fault Arcangelo's communication, instructions and friendliness. Delicious breakfast. My wife's only complaint as a light sleeper was the noise insulation- could hear upstair's water system filling up, chairs moving and conversations in the corridor as people waited for the lift."

"The landscaping was quite noisy in the morning. There were no laundry facilities on site, as indicated on Expedia. The staff were very friendly and the property is very well maintained. Adjoining restaurant is very good, convenient, and reasonably priced."
