"I would like to share with you the wonderful time we had over two weeks at the Jaz Riviera. I have been coming to Egypt for over 20 years and have to say the new style of hotels are a great format for European travelers. The hotel and gardens are immaculate and kept very clean. "Marsa Shagra Village truly felt like a home away from home. Beyond the breathtaking beauty of the Red Sea, what made this place unforgettable was the warmth, professionalism, and heartfelt spirit of the entire team. A special thank you to the wonderful and playful dive instructor Anja, whose joyful energy and dedication made every dive unforgettable. Huge appreciation as well to the amazing equipment buddy Budi and dive team led by cheerful Basta — always organized, helpful, and smiling. Nur at reception welcomed everyone with genuine kindness, while Riad from bookings made everything effortless from the start. Staying in the royal beachfront tent was magical and only added to the feeling of being part of a family rather than a resort. The underwater world was incredible: dolphins, colourful corals, turtles, octopuses, and even the shy and adorable dugong. At night, the sky revealed the most stunning blanket of stars I’ve ever seen. The buffet offered generous variety and many delicious dishes — though at times a slightly smaller selection might allow for even more consistency in quality. The pizzeria deserves a special mention: the Egyptian pizzaiolo Midu makes pizzas worthy of Napoli! I also loved that some vegetables come from the nearby farm cared for by Ott, who also brings beautiful greenery into the desert surroundings. Thank you, Marsa Shagra and Red Sea Diving Safari, for the memories, care, laughter, and sense of belonging. I already miss this special place deeply!"

"Excellent staff. Excellent sea view room. Gardens are immaculately kept colourful. Food was good. Excellent place for scuba diving. Very good dive centre and nearby reefs. My only issue was the main pool area. Had to walk around the pool in sandals. needs retiling/paving. No easy access into main pool (ladders only). The smaller pool round the front is much better with easy access steps - but has no bar. I'll go back."

"We loved this place. Staff is amazing, clearly management is keeping a tight leash to ensure quality, the property is well maintained, and the greenery is amazing. Food is varied and of very good quality, especially for an all-inclusive resort. We are a family of 3, two adults and a 7 years old boy. Just a few points of improvement. 1. While all staff is great, the beach bar staff are not. They are slow even when they see a long queue. Slow as in they are chatting to each other. 2. Could be more generous with pillows and towels (only 3 pillows and three towels for a room that sleeps 3). They did bring us more whne we asked. The pillow quality is also not great. 3. The animation team can do a better job with Egyptian kids. We addressed this issue and they responded that our child is the only Egyptian in the resort and they did make some effort with him. But later in our stay there were more than 10 Egyptian kids and none were intersted to join activites as no one was "marketing" the activities to them. Maybe some Arabic kids songs? It would have been a much better experience for us, the adults, if our son had been more included in the activities. Again, they made an effort when we asked, but we believe it should be something that they do anyway. 4. They said the pools were heated but they were very very cold so we suspect they were not heated. In general, it was a good stay and we would like to repeat it, but these are just some points of improvement. "
