The room was basic but comfortable. There is a climb up some steep stairs, which maybe difficult for some. Basic amenities were provided and when we asked for a kettle we were brought a tray with tea, coffee, cakes and a kettle. An unexpected feast! A bus service into Florence is a short walk away as are restaurants and a tavern. The bus trip into Florence only cost EUR1.50. The views of the Tuscan countryside from the room are magnificent.
