Deserves the name, not value for money

This place is extremely overpriced for stays. This is why: Beachside is very closed to Marina, sea doesn’t feel clean, it’s very difficult to walk because of sharp stones. we stayed in two different rooms both were average, one had a problem with bathroom door. You couldn’t even enter to the bathroom if you don’t have flexible body. Second room again had a problem with toilet tab. Air condition was loudy as from 90’s. Only positive experience was food. I would suggest you to double check accommodation before you check in.

Fantastic setting, right on the beach, nice pool area. Buildings are dated, breakfast is good, breakfast area and restaurant have a nice setting. Not sure but I think it is run by the marina, consequently you don’t get the feel of ownership pride present at so many Turkish hotels. Thought the restaurant was good but pricey. I would stay again just because the location is so exceptional.

Sunduğu hizmet ve olanaklara göre fiyatı oldukça pahalı. Sahili ve bahçesi çok rüzgar alıyor. Denizi taşlı ve yat limanına yakın olduğu için gürültü ve mazot kokusu geliyor. Sabah kahvaltısı yetersiz. Yumurtasız menemen ve demlenmemis çay ile kahvaltı yapmak zorunda kalıyorsunuz. Açık büfe akşam yemeğine kişi başı 145 TL yazıyorlar. 50'lik bira da 40 TL. Sonuçta iki kişi birer bardak bira ile aldığınız bir akşam yemeği iki kahve ile birlikte 400 TL'yi geçiyor. Gereksiz pahalı. Sonuçta 5* otel değil. Bir daha gider miyim, sanmıyorum. Daha uygun fiyata daha güzel yerler bulmak mümkün

Bohem, rahat ve biraz yavaş

Bence otel oldukça tatlı ve güzel.. Sessiz sakinlik arayanlar için çok ideal bir yer. Otelin işletme yaklaşımı güzel ancak personelli arasında iletişimsizlikler olabiliyor. Eğer aceleci değilseniz gerçekten tatil yapmak istiyorsanız çok fazlasıyla rahat edersiniz. Otelde özellikle rica etmeme rağmen yenilenmiş odalarında kalamadım. Eski odaları çok kötü halde değil. Banyo eski ancak çok temizdi. Eminim önümüzdeki yıllarda bu durum düzenlenecektir. Kahvaltı servisinde neye ihtiyaç varsa hızlıca temin etmeye çalışıyorlar. Yoğun ve genelde türk misafir olduğu için talep yüksek olabiliyor ama personel çok kibar ve en azından elinden geleni yaptığını hissediyorsunuz. Kahve olarak kullanılan çekirdek çok iyidi yada bize çok iyi geldi . Amerikano'da ne kullanıyorsanız kullanmaya devam edin :) Sahil kısmında günümüzün bir kısmını geçirdik, personel bir siparişiniz var mı diye sürekli sormaması inanılmaz rahatlatıcı bir durum. Ancak bazen ihtiyacınız olduğunuzda göremiyorsunuz. Tekrar tekrar bence en önemli nokta gerçekten tatile gelen bohemlik ve yavaşlıkla ilgili bir problemi olmayan misafirler için çok ama çok güzel bir yer. Eğer aceleci fazla talepkarsınız başka bir otel bakmanız iyi olabilir. Personelin kibarlığı ve elinden geleni yaptığını görmek güzeldi. Ellerinden gelen herkes için yeterli olamayabilir ama bence otelin konseptine çok uygun bir durum gibi geliyor.

Adults only yazan otelde bir sürü çocuk vardı. Otelin konumu itibari ile çok rüzgar alıyor şanssız bir zamanda gittiğimiz için denize girmek hayal oldu. Otelde misafir ilişkilerinde çalışan 2 yabancı çalışan dışında yönetim gerçekten kötü. O 2 yabancı kız tek tek ilgilendiler işlerini layığı ile yapıyorlar. Ama diğer yandan Garsonluk da yapan gencecik çocukları resepsiyona oturtmuşlar müşteri ile konuşmaktan bihaberler ve içmediğimiz bir içki yüzünden 70 tl fazla çıkan hesap konusunda bizi itham ettiler. tavırları çok çirkindi. İngilizce bilmedikleri için yetkili ile aralarındaki iletişimi bizim kurmamız gerekti. Kahvaltı vasat sadece akşamları güzel bir para öderseniz karşılığında tatilinize yakışır bir yemek yiyebilirsiniz. Otelin ilgilenmesi gereken çok konu var.

renovasyon, güncelleme gerekiyor...

otelin baraka adı ile yeniden açılması sonrası "doğan motel" kimliğinden sıyrılması gerekirdi. buraya yatırım yapmak ve motel kimliğini modernleştirmek gerekiyor. otelin yöneticisi asım özoğul hayatımda şimdiye kadar rastladığım en profesyonel, en nazik, en işbilir yönetici idi herhalde. kendisi sayesinde oteldeki kalışımız çok daha keyifli hale geldi; asım bey olmasa otele daha düşük puanlar verecektim, kendisine buradan teşekkür ederim.

relaxing week at Baraka hisaronu

we have been staying at this hotel for fifteen years and altho it is now run by a different company we really enjoyed our stay. The bedrooms have been beautifully re-furbished and the reception/lounge/dining areas are very attractive. Asim went out of his ways to make our stay special. The beach area is still very relaxing- the only criticism we had was the rough hessian along the pathway and the dried leaves hanging everywhere-- they did not seem to match up with the boutique hotel look.The chef was exceptionally good and Murad waited on us so efficiently and willingly.Altogether a very very relaxing week. Otel konumu itibariyle güzel, sakin. Manzarası dinlendirici. Kahvaltısı idare eder, yalnız biraz gecikirseniz eksilen ürünleri tamamlamıyorlar. Otelin plajındaki hizmet hayal kırıklığı yarattı. Türk kahvesi kırk dakika sonra, lezzetsiz ve soğuk geldi. Geri gönderdiğimizde yenisini getirip özür dileyeceklerini düşündük, düşündüğümüzle kaldık. Ayrıca denizi de muhteşem değil. Biz oteli genellikle konaklamak için kullanıp civardaki koyları gezdik.

Hayal kırıklığı

Odalar çok eski ve küçüktü (superior oda seçimi yapmıştık). Fotoğraflarda görüldüğü gibi otelin çok güzel manzarası ve plajı olmasına karşın, ilgilenilmediği için her yer çok bakımsız ve eskiydi. Havuzun yanında havuzun son kontrol tarihi olarak 1 ay öncesinin tarihi yazılıydı, yetkili kişiye bunu sorduğumda neden öyle birşey yazılı olduğunu bilmediğini, günlük kontrol olduğunu ve girenlerde bir sıkıntı olmadığını söyledi :) ben hiç girmemeyi tercih ettim. Kahvaltı peynir, zeytin, domates, salatalık, mısır gevreği ve reçel baldan oluşuyordu; bizce çok yetersizdi. Otel personelinin yanlış bir davranışını görmedim ama oldukça ilgisizlerdi. Otelin olanaklarından faydalanamadığımız için sadece uyumak için kullanmaya başladık ancak otelin bulunduğu orhaniye bölgesi marmaristeki diğer yerlerden farklı olarak restaurantların, kafelerin olduğu hareketli bir caddeye sahip değildi dolayısıyla bu durum, sadece uyumak için kullandığımız bir yer için dezavantaj haline geldi. Bir daha marmarise geldiğimde orhaniyede ya da bu otelde kalmayı düşünmüyorum.

Güzel huzur dolu,mütevazi bir tatil,yemekler hariç

Doğan hotel, deniz kenarında sakin ve huzurlu bir tatil isteyenler için küçük mütevazi bir otel. Odalarda telefon ve TV bulunmuyor. Biz eksikliğini de hissetmedik. Otel Müdürü Sibel Hanım her konuda yardımcı, dost bir insan. Önceki yıllarda Doğan Hotel'e giden biri olarak, en eksik kısmının mutfak bölümü olduğunu kesinlikle söyleyebilirim. Sabahları klasik en basit kahvaltı veriliyor. Mutfak hizmetleri ve sevis çok yetersiz. Servis elemanları koşturuyor ama çok tecrübesiz. Sanırım aşçı da tek başına çalışıyor. Çünkü ne isteseniz geç geliyor veya malzemenin bittiği söyleniyor. Kısacası orada kahvaltı dışında bir yemek talep etmek bize dahi eziyet gibi geldi, dışarıda yedik. İçki istediğinizde bile epey bekliyorsunuz, ya tirbüşon olmuyor(!) yada soğuk içki. Mutfak yönetimi maalesef kötü. (Mutfağı yöneten bey, servis elemanlarıyla müşterilerin yanında tartışıyor.)Bu bizim için şok oldu. Çünkü Doğan Hotel mutfağıyla süper bir yerdi. Yemeğe dışarıdan katılanlar olurdu. Bence en kısa zamanda eski şef ve ekibi kazanılmalı.
