"We had a really nice stay overall! The pool area was clean and we had a great time enjoying it. The front desk clerk was absolutely wonderful—so sweet, welcoming, helpful, and friendly throughout our stay. She really made us feel comfortable and was definitely a highlight of our experience. Breakfast was another plus! There was a great variety to choose from, and the food was hot, fresh, and tasty. The hotel is also in a convenient location with plenty of food options nearby. With the limited hotel choices in the area, I would definitely say this is one of the best options. My only disappointment was the cleanliness of the bathroom. There was a used washcloth left hanging on the shower curtain rod when we arrived, which was a major turnoff, and overall the bathroom could have been cleaned more thoroughly. Cleanliness is very important to me, so I hope housekeeping pays a little more attention to those details going forward. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. With a little more attention to housekeeping, this would have been an excellent experience!"

"The charm of this historic cottage cannot be denied, and the commitment to preservation is commendable. Melissa was responsive as a host. There was a lot of space around the cottage that made it feel private, and a small space fenced in for our dogs. A few things that would have made our stay even better: cleaner cooking pots; real coffee mugs; better instructions for things like the outside light, and space heaters. There was also a lot of noise throughout the night from large trucks and motorcycles going by. "
