"They only leave one roll of tissue in the room. No extra roll. Other than that the staff of nice. The hotel does need some work in some rooms. The price is definitely too high for the area and condition. "
"This home was not ready for a hospitable stay as depicted in the picture when we booked it.
It looked like someone had been living there for quite a while, with hair everywhere—in the bathtub, beds, and sink. The bed was made, and it seemed like someone just walked out the door.
There were many issues. One of the bedsheets was damp, and the other looked like it had been slept in for a week or two without being washed. The heat did not work, and the toilet paper was only 1-ply. Additionally, there was just one set of towels for a single person, our booking was for 3 adults.
We had asked if there was parking, and the response was, "This is a house; you can park in front of it," which led us to believe there was a driveway. However, there was no driveway, leaving us with only the option to park our luxury car on the street.
When we arrived late at night and mentioned the hair everywhere, the host told us she wasn't comfortable with us staying there and offered a full refund. But where would we go at 11 PM in a town we were unfamiliar with?
For $600, it was not worth the stay. The only thing that seemed to be insurable was the TVs, Cooker, and Refrigerator despite the stay itself requiring insurance.
We complained to the host after our stay, in good faith hoping she would learn and make improvements, she asked us to drop the key on the kitchen counter, I have never checked out of any home in this insecure way.
1 day after she is now accusing us of stealing 2 blankets.
