"Marcello was a wonderful host, attentive throughout our stay, regularly checking in to see if we were ok. He was there to greet us at the start and provided lots of little extras including delicious homemade arancini. The villa itself was ideal and the outside space with the pool was fabulous and well maintained. "We were very impressed when we arrived with how clean the property was. It was immaculate! The hosts were amazing and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and accommodate us. To the extent of purchasing an ice cream birthday cake for my daughter’s 4th birthday and helping us fix our broken wheels on our pushchair and ordering us pizza to be delivered. They were so helpful! What an amazing place to stay! You won’t be disappointed."

"Villa Paola is a lovely property, set high above Donnalucata with a view down to the sea. The veranda is well shaded with good seating for eating outside. There is a bbq and a good size kitchen. The bedrooms are spacious and bathrooms are modern. The aircon works well, essential for Sicily’s hot weather! "Le Maria is a very nice house with a wonderful pool and garden area. A happy herd of cows lives on the other side of the garden wall and the clanging of their bells gives a tranquil countryside feel. The owners Graziella and Sara were extremely helpful and responsive. We did not have the problems with electricity mentioned in other reviews. The kitchens (there are two) are generally well equipped but some more pots, pans, kitchen knives and chopping boards would be good to have."
