"Amazing stay – we’ll definitely be back! The apartment is in a fantastic location – just minutes from the sea with a beautiful pool. The equipment and furnishings were excellent, everything we needed was there. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, so I could work remotely without any issues. Only 20 minutes from the airport, yet it was incredibly peaceful – we didn’t see or hear a single plane. Truly a place worth recommending. We’ll definitely return!"

"Fantastic holiday for a party of young and older adults, x2 families, first time in Croatia and fallen in love. The villa was in a perfect location for the restaurants and supermarkets in Marina. Hospitality & cleanliness 5star, the kitchen was very well equipped, and the pool had beautiful views overlooking the sea. Petar helped us organise a boat trip with Ivan - definitely recommend, we were picked up from the pier literally over the road, visiting x3 islands via speedboat for some swimming and beach clubs.Young adults Ubered into Trogir for some late night life (15/20mins away)."

"The property is fantastic- clean, Ivan and his wife were the perfect hosts. The villa is spacious and well thought out. It has everything you need to feel at home. The poolside and balcony have amazing views of sunrise over the mountains, and you can also enjoy sunsets as well. Ivan was incredibly attentive to all of our questions right from booking and throughout the stay. We had a few very specific things to arrange for my Mum’s 70th and he was on hand to advise and provide information. He kept us informed of local holidays, celebrations and when supermarkets might be closed which was really useful when planning activities during our stay. When my parents arrived it was late at night so I was quite worried about them arriving. Ivan made sure that they were welcomed with local food made by his wife. This was a lovely touch after such a long journey. Ivan also showed us the local area and some beautiful spots to go. You can tell he is very knowledgable and proud of such a wonderful area and that shines through in his hosting. I would 100% book again. My Mum’s birthday was incredibly special and it’s largely thanks to the quality of the villa and the hosting we received. If you’re considering booking- do it! "

"We enjoyed a fantastic 2 week stay at this villa in Gustirna, near to Marina. The villa itself is so comfortable; air-conditioned, well equipped with plenty of areas to relax, whether by the pool or on one of the balconies. Everything you need, we felt, was provided.Without a doubt, what makes this vacation villa so special are the hosts, Ivan and his wife Ivanka. We arrived late Saturday night but Ivan met us in Marina and guided us to our home. Homemade food and wines were laid on for us - no need to shop the next day! His family made sure we enjoyed some freshly grilled fish on Sunday, which was also delicious!Ivan provided us with a tour of Marina by car, pointing out all the best places to park, eat, shop and swim - excellent local knowledge to have.We travelled to some of the other towns in the vicinity by car too. Our visits were enhanced by all the many links that Ivan had sent via WhatsApp regarding what to see, where to eat.All in all we would recommend this villa to anyone. We've never experienced better."

"We were a group of nine, the villa looked perfect for the size of our group online and was exactly as described when we arrived. The surroundings were very peaceful and quiet with a nice cooling breeze around the pool. The pool was the perfect size and the interior was absolutely spotless and modern. Vinko is the most accommodating and helpful host I have ever experienced, he was sending me information on the local amenities and restaurants etc, long before we arrived, and was always available if we needed anything. I have been renting villas for 30 years, this is my best experience yet. "

"From beginning to end communication was excellent, the villa worked fabulously for our group dynamics. The out door kitchen was well stocked with all we needed and the welcome pack hit the mark too. The pool area was fantastic and was greatly appreciated after day trips out( weather didn’t go beneath34 degrees for the whole duration of our trip) The village had everything we needed, lovely restaurants, bars, boat hire and a supermarket. Over all it was a splendid trip and Tina and Tee were excellent hosts. We will be returning. "

"We were very comfortable in our VRBO in Marina. The bathrooms had been recently remodeled and were absolutely beautiful and functional. The bedrooms were spacious and easy to keep cool for sleeping. I just love European windows and was delighted that the VRBO’s windows had screens to keep the bugs out. The VRBO is on the “quiet” side of the marina and we didn’t hear hardly any noise from neighbors, traffic, partying, etc.We had been travelling in Italy and didn’t bring much luggage with us. Our host had beach towels for us, and advised us how we could rent beach chairs from the nearby hotel. We easily found parking for our large van and could walk everywhere – to the store, the beach, the restaurants and cafes, etc. Split, Trogir, and the airport were conveniently close. One bonus was that Grandma lives downstairs, and she was very patient with my attempts to converse in Croatian. Our host went beyond just being a host and helped with the retrieval of an item we left in Pula. I don’t know how we got our item back without his help.All seven of us would definitely recommend Marin, Marina and the VRBO to our friends who are looking for a quiet place to spend their Croatian summer vacation. "
