"I really enjoy this hotel. The location is great. Beach is nice, resort is small. We did notice it was a lot busier in September than February and staff were not quite as friendly as they were. But I do need to call out a few that stand out- servers- Oscar, Luis, David. And the tall chef at teppanyaki, he was fabulous!! The lady who works at the royal desk is so friendly and helpful. There was a great female server in Royal too. Armando in entertainment is always entertaining and he said everything in English so we understood. Our teenage daughter even enjoyed it."

"We got a suite which was well worth the price for the extra room. The cleaning staff was great. The vibe at the hotel was really good. The only negative is that the property is over an hour from Puerto Vallarta so any activities outside the hotel take a huge part of your day due to transportation."
