Brief stay
The hotel has been refurbished to quite a good standard overall, but there are some odd issues. The balcony has 2 chairs but no table; the ('Superior') bedroom has only one chair; there is no curtain/blind over the glass balcony door to keep out the early morning light; there is no independent control for the elctronically controlled main window curtains; there is no bedside table on one side of the bed; the toilet has a pointless electronic control panel; there is no heated towel rail. Apart from that....the room was fine. The spa is very good. Breakfast was good.

Out of the way probably very busy in ski season
The hotel was very quiet with few guests. There was a bar which seemed to have been blocked off and small seating areas. Some huge empty very formal dining areas. Very grand entrance lobby. Breakfast was the usual selection you'd expect but no tea/coffee facilities in a "5 star" hotel....really. Wifi worked well in the room and was free. The pool/spa area looked nice but I didn't try it.

We had a very nice time, the staff was excellent, the pool very very nice, and the room small but very nice. The description said washers and dryers in rooms. Untrue - laundry services are available, but at a high price. The shower has a half glass enclosure, and water can spray out if the water pressure is normal. That is why I believe our room had almost no water pressure in the shower. This was the most feeble shower we have experienced. Also, air conditioning is only in the new section of the hotel. Otherwise our stay was very nice and we would recommend.

Very nice hotel in a beautiful location. You will need a car if you are planning on seeing more of Maribor. Pool area is nice. The food in the restaraunt is good.

Good Hotel, many facilities, great breakfast buffet, slightly faded pool area, overall very happy.
The Hotel Habakuk is about three miles from the centre of Maribor town. It is situated at the foot of one of the local ski areas and has a few small bars, Pizza Restaurants and other Hotel restaurants within easy walking distance. There are a couple of large rental shops nearby where mountain bikes/Scooters etc. can be rented and the bike/walking trails are all nearby. The main Ski run into the village is immediately behind the Hotel. The Hotel has numerous leisure facilities, with both outdoor and indoor pools with jacuzzis, fountains, waterfalls etc. The Wellness centre offers many treatments, though these often need to be booked as they are popular with people from outside of the Hotel as well. Sauna, Squash, Gym are also available. The bedrooms are spacious, comfy beds, clean with well presented bathrooms, balconies on most also. We stayed on a B&B basis and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Cereals, fruits, yogurts, cold meats and cheeses, breads, jams, pastries, hot food also with a chef to cook fresh omelettes, eggs, bacon etc. I couldn't fault this in anyway. We ate in the restaurant one night and the meal was very good, no complaints in that department. You can, however eat out very cheaply in Slovenia and the restaurant was probably about three times as expensive as a meal out. We had an excellent BBQ one night at a Hotel down the road for only 6 Euros! No problems with the language as the people who work in the Tourist industry speak good English.

Lækkert hotel med venlige medarbejdere. Desværre virkede aircondition ikke på værelset og var der lidt kiks i de elektriske systemer. De sidste blev dog løst.

Well placed hotel, perfect spa, good services
Hotel remembers old Jugaoslavian time, but in very good shape, very clean, very good service & nice surroundings. Perfect spa&sauna area.

War mit meiner Partnerin zum Wellness Wochenende dort. Nur zum Wellness ist dieses Hotel nicht geeignet... Saunen nur im Keller, daher keine Vernünftige Belüftung... Service war OK, wenn man dort zum Skifahren hinfährt ist dieses Hotel bestimmt super aber so außerhalb nur zum Wellness machen leider nicht

Sehr gutes Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis
Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt. Trotz wir im alten Trakt gewohnt haben waren wir sehr zufrieden mit dem Zimmer. Die Sauna und die Therme ist schon in ihre Jahre gekommen und sollte überholt werden. Alte Monturen und leider kein Tauchbecken für Saunabenutzer. Sonst war es schön!

Das Hotel hat eine wunderschöne Aussicht, die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Indoor-Pool ist riesig (zum Schwimmen ungeeignet) zum entspannen. Die Saunenanlage war auch sehr gepflegt und in Ordnung. Für ein 4* Hotel hatten wir bei folgenden Punkten bessere Erwartungen: -Die Heizung konnte im Zimmer nicht reguliert werden. Wir waren im Dezember und im Zimmer war ca. 25 Grad. Das war, insbesondere in der Nacht, unergräglich. - Die Betten machen sehr laute Geräusche beim Umdrehen, Aufstehen. Im großen und ganzem war die Preis-Leistung im Vergleich mit den Hotels in der gleichen Region ok. Wenn man allerdings mit anderen 4* Hotels europaweit (zB Österreich) vergleicht, dann hätten wir mehr Detailgenauigkeit für Comfort erwartet.

Sauberes Hotel in ruhiger Lage mit großem Wellnessbereich, der jedoch etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist (allerdings sehr sauber) Sehr zuvorkommendes und kompetentes Personal. Weder das Abend-, noch das Frühstücksbüffee ließ Wünsche offen!

Erholung pur, einen Aufenthalt wert!
Hübsch renoviertes Hotel direkt beim Lift und den Pisten am Rande von Maribor. Thermen bereich älter aber tadellos, viele Unterwassermasagen und Whirlpools, angenehme Wassertemperatur. Im Sommer kann auch das Aussenpool benutzt werden. Der Sauna- und Fitnessbereich sowie SPA und Wellness lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die neu hergerichteten Zimmer sind 1A. Frühstücksbuffet, im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen, ist umfangreich für jeden Geschmack ausgerichtet und entspricht allen Wünschen, ebenso das Abendbuffet mit großer Auswahl an slowenischen und internationalen warmen und kalten Speisen. Ich bin viel in Europa sowohl beruchflich wie auch privat herumgekommen, aber so ein perfektes Personal, angefangen von der Rezeption, über die Hotelboys, den Putzfrauen, den Personen im Wellness und SPA Bereich, sowie in der Küche und dem Restaurant und an der Bar habe ich auch in 1A Hotelketten nicht gesehen. Alles in allem ein sehr tolles Hotel das ich nur weiterempfehlen kann, das Preisleistungsverhältniss kann sich sehen lassen.

V tomto hotelu jsme byli již podruhé. Po dlouhé jízdě je místní bazén a wellnes zóna skvělý relax. Stihli jsme ještě výlet lanovkou na Pohorje, odkud je krásný výhled. Pokoj prostorný, pohodlné postele, vana a balkon s pěkným výhledem. Snídaně bohatá a chutná. Jistě se sem opět vrátíme.
