"B&B Dolomites Hut is a fantastic stay! Getting to the building by bus is very easy from the train station. The host and his wife are so nice and hospitable. Breakfast every morning to your liking and they are happy to provide any and all recommendations for activities in the area. The rooms are nice and the views from the balcony are amazing. "Everything about this property was very good, except for the desk staff. (One person, the overnight (older gentleman) desk clerk was very kind, congenial & helpful.) The other three I interacted with were rude & intentionally unhelpful. There was no card provided in the room to indicate Do Not Disturb. I asked at the desk how to do that; what he told me was a total lie. Because it seemed odd, later that evening I asked the woman who was then on duty. She explained the process (I won't go into it here; believe it or not, in involved a 2nd room key, holding down buttons, a light being activated . . . ) Like a fool, I believed her. When I returned to my room the next afternoon, not only had Housekeeping been in my room, they had touched everything! They had even put my pajamas under my pillow! Because I thought no one would be coming in the room, I had left everything out. I hadn't even put jewelry in the safe! When I complained to yet a 3rd desk clerk, she basically said I messed up the process. The redeeming part of my stay was the restaruant staff. They were wonderful to me. Because of them, I ate 2 breakfasts & 2 dinners at the hotel. Perhaps this place should put some of their restaurant staff on the front desk!"
