"We were very pleased with the breakfast, but the breakfast location itself is not in the hotel but in a restaurant on the main street, which is not easy to reach on foot up the stairs.Overall we really liked the hotel and the wonderful, polite staff.The hotel is like a real castle with spacious verandas and a beautiful view of the valley and the fortress on the mountain. The place is very quiet and calm for enjoying the beauty, I recommend it to everyone."

The architecture of Mardin’s interlocking stone houses is very open to the smoke from the barbecue in the adjacent building, as well as to music and ambient sounds.
