I don’t like leaving negative reviews as they sometimes are unfair to the owner. Seemed needed here though for the price and number of issues.The largest issues were the AC and pool. The AC unit servicing the primary bedroom wasn’t working when we arrived. HVAC company came out the following day to fix, a new motor was needed. The AC in the house seemed to struggle in general the house attempt. The pool had green growth in it and was dirty when we got there. The pool guy came a few days into our trip, he added chlorine and acid which got out the growth but we lost a few days of being able to use the pool. There were also a number of areas that are dated or not functional. Many doors don't have working locks, the front door handle falls off entirely, and there are some areas that are crumbling apart like tile in the master shower. A few drains are partially clogged and backup (primary shower and kitchen with garbage disposal). Other areas are highly worn. The house had a bug problem - ants, spiders and centipedes in different areas. And there were a number of large cockroaches in the lower level.The house is pretty bare bones with essentials. No dishwasher detergent, only one extra trash bag for a week stay, no hand soap at kitchen sink, things like thatOverall, disappointing experience. Far from what you would expect for the price and there’s many other better options on the island. The mgmt company was very responsive during our stay which I really appreciated.
