About this property

The Writer’s Cabin

  • The Writer’s Cabin is a rustic retreat with all the amenities you could ever need. It is situated on our small farm on the west edge of Johnson City, a 1 1/2 minute drive from the town square. We have 2 donkeys, lots of chickens and guineas, 2 of the friendliest dogs ever, and a couple of adorable cats to keep you entertained. The yard is full of huge live oak trees, and comfortable seating areas. We offer a full breakfast with farm fresh eggs if you care to join us. We also have two bedrooms in our Farmhouse (across the driveway) available for reservation. The Private Suite sleeps 4 and the King Room sleeps two.
