The bungalow was very comfortable and clean and the pool and beach areas were nice and well maintained. However for a family with a very young child, there were limited play area options (playground), specially not indoors or in an air conditioned area.
The food served in the main buffet was not the best quality, and the limited hours to access food made it very challenging for our young son. There was only snacks (bad quality sandwiches and hot dogs) throughout the day, with no access to fresh fruit or vegetables like in previous all inclusive resort we have stayed in.
The food served at their a la carte restaurant was significantly better, but there are limited opportunities to book it throughout your stay.
The drive to the hotel is also quite long from Athens, and 2/3 of the drive are through very local roads.
We had a great time as a family, but we would not be coming back as we are looking for a more child friendly experience.

I rarely write reviews and I rarely get so sad to leave a hotel. This was an amazing experience, rooted in the staff. I highly recommend Four seasons Hydra. Slow mornings. Amazing water. The best tavern with amazing food. Sunsets and again some of the best staff and i have stayed in the most expensive hotels worldwide. I can't wait to come back

The hotel breakfast/lobby/architecture/presentation etc is truly magnificent. Unfortunately the room had a very noisy old aircon unit. Same with the safe. The room wasn't at the level as the rest of the property. It’s unfortunate as the property is very very special indeed!
